Ko e Teuteu ki he Hāʻele mai Hotau ʻEikí

“Mou teuteu ʻa e hāʻeleʻanga ʻo e ʻEikí, pea fakatonutonu ʻa hono ngaahi hāʻeleʻangá, he ʻoku ofi mai ʻa e houa ʻo ʻene hāʻele maí” (T&F 133:17).

Naʻe talaange ʻe Palesiteni Siosefa Filitingi Sāmita ʻi ha meʻa ʻe taha ki ha kulupu ʻo e Kāingalotu ʻo e Ngaahi ʻAho Kimui Ní naʻá ne “lotua ke hoko mai ʻa e ngataʻanga ʻo e māmaní.” Naʻá ne pehē, “Kapau ʻe hoko mai ʻapongipongi te u fiefia.” Naʻe lea leʻo lahi hake ha fefine ke fanongo ki ai ʻa e toengá, fekauʻaki mo e fakamatala ko ʻení. Naʻe pehē ange ia, “ʻSiʻi, ofa pē he ʻikai.”

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Sāmita ʻi heʻene fakamatalaʻi e meʻá ni ʻi ha taimi ki mui ange:

“ʻOku ʻikai ke ke loto koe ke hokosia mai ʻa e ngataʻanga ʻo māmaní?

“ʻOku hala e fakakaukau ʻa e tokolahi taha e kakaí ki he ʻuhinga ʻo e ngataʻanga ʻo māmaní. …

“… Ko e taimi ʻe hāʻele mai ai ʻa Kalaisí ʻe ʻi ai leva ʻa e ngataʻanga ʻo e māmaní. … He ʻikai ke toe ʻi ai ha tau, ha faingataʻa, ha meheka, pe loi; he ʻikai ke toe ʻi ai ha faiangahala. ʻE ako ai ʻa e tangatá ke ʻofa ʻi he ʻEikí mo tauhi ʻEne ngaahi fekaú, pea kapau he ʻikai, he ʻikai ke nau nofo heni. Ko e ngataʻanga ia ʻo e māmaní, pea ko e meʻa ia naʻe lotua ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻi he taimi naʻe omi ai ʻene kau ākongá kiate ia ʻo pehē, ‘Akonakiʻi kimautolu ke lotu.’ Ko e hā naʻá ne faí? Naʻá ne akoʻi kinautolu, ‘Ko ʻemau Tamai ʻoku ʻi he Langi, Ke tāpuhā Ho huafá, ke hoko mai Hoʻo pulé, Ke fai ʻa māmani ki Ho finangaló, ʻo hangē ʻi he langí.’ [Vakai, Luke 11:1–2.]

“Ko e meʻa ia ʻoku ou lotuá. Naʻe lotua ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e ngataʻanga ʻo e māmaní, pea ʻoku pehē mo au.”1

ʻOku ofi ʻa e hāʻele mai ʻa e ʻEikí.

ʻOku tau fakaofi vave atu ki he ʻaho lahi ʻo e ʻEikí, ʻa e taimi ko ia ʻo e “fakamoʻuí,” ʻo ka ne hāʻele mai ʻi he ngaahi ʻao ʻo e langí ke tautea ʻa e taʻe-angatonú mo teuteu ʻa e māmaní ki he pule he melino ʻa kinautolu kotoa ʻoku loto fiemālie ke nofo maʻu ʻi heʻene fonó [vakai, Ngāue 3:19–20].3

ʻOku kau ʻi he ngaahi fakaʻilonga ʻo e ʻaho fakaʻosí ʻa e tupulaki ʻa e potó. Ka ʻoku kei hoko atu pē māmani motuʻá ʻi heʻene ngāué ʻo siʻi pē ha tokanga ki he ngaahi meʻa kotoa kuo folofolaʻaki ʻe he ʻEikí pe ki he ngaahi fakaʻilonga mo e ngaahi fakahinohino kuo ʻosi foakí. ʻOku fakafefeka ʻe he kakaí honau lotó mo pehē “… ʻoku fakatoloi ʻe Kalaisi ʻa ʻene hāʻele maí kae ʻoua ke aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻo e māmaní.” (T&F 45:26.)4

Lau e meʻa kuo tohi ʻi heʻetau ngaahi folofolá. Lau e meʻa naʻá ne folofola tonu ʻakí. ʻI heʻene hāʻele maí, te ne fakamaʻa ʻa e māmani ko ʻení mei heʻene ngaahi angahala kotoa pē, pea, ʻi heʻene folofola kau ki he Siasí, naʻá ne pehē te ne fekauʻi mai ʻene kau ʻāngeló ke nau tānaki mei hono puleʻangá, ʻa ia ko e Siasí, ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa ʻoku fakahouhaú [vakai, Mātiu 13:41].9

[Ko e] ʻaho lahi mo fakamanavaheé he ʻikai ko ha toe taimi kehe ia mei ha hāʻele mai ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi ke fokotuʻu hono puleʻangá ʻi he mālohi he lotolotonga ʻo e kau angatonú he māmaní pea mo fakamaʻa ʻa e māmaní mei he angahala kotoa pē. He ʻikai hoko ia ko ha ʻaho ʻo e manavahē pe fakatupu hohaʻa ʻi he loto ʻo e kau angatonú, ka ʻe hoko ia ko ha ʻaho lahi ʻo e manavahē mo e tetetete ki he kau taʻe-māʻoniʻoní. Kuo tau ʻilo ʻeni mei he folofola tonu pē hotau Fakamoʻuí, ʻi heʻene akoʻi ʻene kau ākongá [vakai, Mātiu 24; Siosefa Sāmita —Mātiu 1].10

ʻE hoko ha fakamaau ʻi he hāʻele mai a Kalaisí. Kuo ʻosi fakahā mai ʻe fakaava ʻa e ngaahi tohi, pea ʻe fakamāuʻi ʻa e kau pekiá fakatatau mo e ngaahi meʻa kuo tohi ʻi he ngaahi tohí pea ʻe kau ʻi he ngaahi tohí ʻa e tohi ʻo e moʻuí [vakai, Fakahā 20:12]. Te tau mamata ki hono ngaahi pēsí. Te tau vakai kiate kitautolu ʻo hangē ko hotau anga he taimi ní, pea kuo pau ke tau maʻu ʻa e mahino ʻi he mahino māʻoniʻoni ko e fakamaau ʻoku fai kiate kitautolú ʻoku totonu mo moʻoni, tatau ai pē pe ʻoku tau hū ki he Puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá, … ke maʻu e ngaahi tāpuaki nāunauʻia ko ʻení pe ʻe kapusi kitautolu ki tuʻa.11

ʻOku ou kōlenga ki he Kau Māʻoniʻoni ʻi he Ngaahi ʻAho Kimui Ní ke nau tuʻu maʻu mo faivelenga ʻi hono fakahoko ʻo e fatongia kotoa pē, ʻo hono tauhi e ngaahi fekau ʻa e ʻEikí, fakaʻapaʻapaʻi e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí, koeʻuhí ke tau lava ʻo tuʻu ʻi he hāʻele mai ʻa e ʻEikí —pe te tau kei moʻui pe mate, ʻoku ʻikai mahuʻinga,—ka ke tau hoko ko e kakai ʻoku maʻu e nāunau ko ʻení.12

ʻOku lahi ha ngaahi meʻa ʻoku hoko ʻi māmani he ʻahó ni ʻoku nau fakahaaʻi ʻoku ofi mai ʻa e ʻaho lahi ʻo e ʻEikí, ʻa ia ʻe toe hā mai ai ʻa e Huhuʻí ke fokotuʻu hono puleʻangá ʻi he teuteu māʻoniʻoni ki he pule he taʻu ʻe afé. ʻI he taimi tatau pē, ko e fatongia ia ʻo e kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí ke feinga ke ʻiloʻi pea mo teuteu kinautolu ʻi he ako mo e tui ki hono kamata ʻo e ʻaho lahi mo nāunauʻia ko iá.13

ʻOku ʻikai fie maʻu ke tau hohaʻa fekauʻaki mo e ngaahi kuonga pea mo e faʻahitaʻu ʻe hāʻele mai ai ʻa Kalaisí, ka ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau leʻo mo lotu pea mateuteu.14

ʻOku ou pikoʻia he taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻi he taimi ʻoku lea ai hotau kaumātuʻá, ʻo pehē ʻe hāʻele mai ʻa e ʻEikí ʻi he taimi te tau māʻoniʻoni feʻunga kotoa ai ke tali iá. He ʻikai ke tatali ʻa e ʻEikí ia kiate kitautolu ke tau māʻoniʻoni. Ko e taimi pē kuo mateuteu ai ia ke hāʻele maí, ʻe hāʻele mai ia —ʻi he taimi ʻoku fonu ai ʻa e ipu ʻo e angahalá—pea kapau ʻoku ʻikai ke tau angatonu, ko ha toki meʻa ia ʻe kovi lahi he ʻe lau fakataha kitautolu mo e kau taʻe-māʻoniʻoní, pea te tau tatau mo e veve ke tafiʻi atu mei he funga ʻo māmaní, he ʻoku folofola ʻa e ʻEikí he ʻikai tuʻu ʻa e angahalá.15

Te tau kei nofonoa ai pē ʻi he mātuʻaki taʻeʻilo pe taʻe-mahuʻingaʻia he meʻa kotoa kuo ʻosi foaki mai ʻe he ʻEikí ko e fakatokangá? ʻOku ou pehē kiate kimoutolu, “Ko ia, leʻo: he ʻoku ʻikai te mou ʻilo ʻa e feituʻu-laʻā ko ia ʻe haʻu ai homou ʻEikí.

“Kae ʻilo ʻeni, ka ne ʻilo ʻe he ʻeiki ʻo e falé ʻa e lakanga leʻo ko ia ʻe haʻu ai ʻa e kaihaʻá, pehē, kuó ne leʻo, kae ʻikai tuku ke haea hono falé.

“Ko ia, ke tali teu pē ʻa kimoutolu foki: koeʻuhí ʻe haʻu ʻa e Foha ʻo e tangatá ʻi he feituʻu laʻā ʻoku ʻikai te mou ʻamanaki ki ai” (Mātiu 24:42– 44.)
