“Maʻu ha ako lelei.” ʻE malava ke hoko ia ko e kiʻi faleʻi angamaheni taha maʻá e toʻu tupú.

Ka ʻoku aʻu pē ki he niʻihi ʻoku nau muimui ki he faleʻi ko ʻení, ʻoku hangē ʻoku lahi ange e meʻa ia ʻoku maʻu ʻe he niʻihi mei heʻenau ako fakaʻatamaí ʻi ha niʻihi kehe—pea ʻoku ʻikai te tau ʻuhinga pē ki he māká pe ko e ngaahi mataʻitohí pe ko e ngaahi ngāué. Ko ia ko e hā leva e faikehekehe ʻi he kakai naʻa nau “ako moʻoní” mo e kakai ʻa ia naʻa nau “lavaʻi e akó”?

Ngaahi meʻa ʻoku fakamuʻomuʻá

1. Fekumi ki he ako fakalaumālié. Ke fakapapauʻi hoʻo lavameʻa taupotu tahá, muimui ki he faleʻi ʻa Palesiteni Henelī B. ʻAealingí, Tokoni ʻUluaki ʻi he Kau Palesitenisī ʻUluakí:

“ʻOku totonu ke hoko e ako fakalaumālié ko e ʻuluaki meʻa ʻoku tau fakamuʻomuʻá. …

“… ʻOku ʻikai fakamaʻamaʻa ʻe he fakamuʻomuʻa e ako fakalaumālié ʻetau ako ki he ngaahi meʻa fakaemāmaní. ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻokú ne ʻomi ha taumuʻa ki heʻetau ako fakaemāmaní mo fakaʻaiʻai kitautolu ke tau ngāue mālohi ange ai.

“Kuo pau ke tau fakahoko ha ngaahi fili faingataʻa ki he founga ʻoku tau fakaʻaongaʻi ai hotau taimí, kae lava ke fakamuʻomuʻa e ako fakalaumālié. Ka ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke teitei fai ha fili ʻi he ʻilo pau ke tuku ʻa e meʻa fakalaumālié ke toki fika ua hake. ʻIkai ʻAupito ʻE iku ia ki ha meʻa fakamamahi.”1

2. Fekumi ke potupotutatau. ʻOku ʻuhinga ʻa e potupotutataú ko hono ʻiloʻi e ngaahi meʻa ʻokú ke fakamuʻomuʻá. ʻE lava ke tokoni atu hoʻo fakamuʻomuʻa e potupotutataú ke ke maʻu ha fakakaukau totonu. Kuo pehē ʻe ʻEletā M. Lāsolo Pālati ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá: “Manatuʻi he ʻikai lava ke tau maʻu e moʻui potupotutataú ʻo ka fuʻu tōtuʻa hano fai ha faʻahinga meʻa ʻi he moʻuí. Fakalahi atu ki aí, ʻe lava ke hoko ha meʻa tatau ʻo ka fuʻu siʻisiʻi hano fai e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku mahuʻingá.”2

3. Maʻu ha mohe feʻunga. Mahalo ʻe ngali hangē ha kiʻi meʻa siʻí, ka ʻoku ʻi ai ha faikehekehe lahi ʻi he maʻu ha mohe feʻungá—ʻoku lelei ange ia ʻi haʻo fakakaukauʻi ha ngaahi founga ke ʻāʻā ai ʻi he kalasí. Kuo ʻosi fakapapauʻi ʻe ha ngaahi ako fakatotolo e mahuʻinga ʻo ha mohe feʻungá ki he akó, ka ʻoku feilaulauʻi ia ʻe ha kakai tokolahi ki he ngaahi meʻa kehe (tautefito ki he fakafiefiá). Fakapapauʻi ʻoku kau ia ʻi hoʻo lisi ʻo e ngaahi meʻa ke fakamuʻomuʻá. (Kae ʻoua ʻe fai ia ʻo fuʻu lahi; vakai ki he fika 2 ʻi ʻolungá mo e Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 88:124.)

Ngaahi fakakaukaú

1. ʻOkú ke fatongia ʻaki hoʻo akó (kau ai hoʻo tōnounoú). Kuó ke ʻiloʻi nai ha kau taʻu hongofulu tupu ʻoku nau kei fakafalala pē ki he tokoni ʻa ʻenau mātuʻá ʻi he kotoa ʻenau ngāue fakaako mei ʻapí mo e ngaahi ngāue fakaako ke faí? pe ʻoku nau fakamatalaʻi nai ʻa e maaka koví ʻaki ʻenau pehē, “ʻOku fehiʻa pē e faiakó ia ʻia au”? pe ʻe tukuakiʻi ha ngaahi tūkunga kehe? Fatongia ʻaki hoʻo akó. Te ke ofo ʻi he meʻa te ke ako moʻoní pea te ke fiefia lahi ange ai.

2. ʻOku ʻikai tatau ʻe māká mo e akó. ʻOua te ke fetoʻoaki e fakaʻilongá (e foʻi māká) mo e meʻa ʻoku tonu ke ne fakafofongaʻi (ʻa e akó mo e ngāué). Te ke faʻa fiemālie lahi ange mo hoʻo māká, ʻi he fakakaukau ko ʻení.

3. ʻOku ʻikai totonu ke makatuʻunga hoʻo mahuʻinga fakatāutahá ʻi he ngaahi meʻa mei tuʻá hangē ko e ngaahi pale fakalāngilangí, māká, mo e ngaahi mataʻitohí. Vilitaki ke fai lelei pea aʻusia hoʻo ngaahi taumuʻa fakaakó, kae ʻoua ʻe tuku ke fakapapauʻi ʻe he ngaahi palé ho mahuʻingá.

4. ʻOku mahuʻinga ange e ngāue mālohí ʻi he “potó.” Tatau ai pē pe ʻokú ke fakakaukau ʻoku faingofua ange e akó kiate koe ʻi he niʻihi kehé koeʻuhi ko hoʻo ngaahi malava fakanatulá, ʻoku totonu ke ke sio ki hoʻo lavameʻá ko ha ola ʻo e ngāue mālohi kae ʻikai ko ha meʻafoaki naʻe fāʻeleʻi koe mo ia. Pea kapau he ʻikai maʻu faingofua pē e ngaahi meʻá, ʻoua naʻá ke foʻi—ʻe fakakakato ʻe he ngāué ʻa e faikehekehé. ʻE tataki lelei koe ʻe he fakakaukau ko ʻení ʻi he ngaahi tafaʻaki kotoa pē ʻo e moʻuí, tautautefito ki he taimi te ke ʻunu atu ai mei he akó ki he māmani ʻo e ngāué. ʻOku ʻikai ke ʻi ai ha founga vave mo faingofua ki he ako moʻoní—he ʻikai lava ke ke loi ki he kakaí ʻokú ke ʻiloʻi ha meʻa kae hili ko iá ʻoku ʻikai moʻoni ia.

5. ʻOkú ke ʻosi ʻiloʻi ha meʻa lahi, ka ʻoku ʻikai ke ke ʻiloʻi e meʻa kotoa pē. Fakalaulauloto ki he anga e fehokotaki e ngaahi meʻa kehekehe kotoa pē ʻokú ke akó. Kae ʻoua te ke fakakaukau ʻi ha faʻahinga tūkunga ʻokú ke ʻosi ʻiloʻi e meʻa kotoa pē —ʻoku ʻikai ke ʻilo ʻe ha taha. Ko e fakakaukau ko iá ko ha ʻā vahevahe ia ki he akó.

6. Ko e akó pē ʻa e palé. ʻOku talanoa ha kakai tokolahi ki he akó ʻo hangē ha meʻa ʻoku fie maʻu ke maʻu ai ha meʻa kehe—ko ha founga ke fakalakalaka ai ʻi he moʻuí, maʻu ha ngāue lelei, mo e alā meʻa pehē. ʻE ngali moʻoni pē ia, ka ko e moʻoni foki te ke toe fiefia mo ako lahi ange kapau ʻokú ke vakai ki he akó ko ha taumuʻa ia. ʻOua naʻá ke hoko ko e tokotaha ʻoku toki fehuʻi pē, “ʻE kau nai ʻeni ʻi he siví?” pe “Te tau toe fakaʻaongaʻi nai ʻeni?”

7. ʻOua naʻá ke fakaʻehiʻehi mei he ngaahi faingataʻá koeʻuhí pē he ʻoku ʻi ai ha faingamālie ʻo e tōnounoú. Ko e lahi ange hoʻo loto fiemālie ke fai ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku faingataʻa ʻi he taimi ní, ko e lahi ai pē ia hoʻo mateuteu ke fehangahangai mo e meʻa ʻe haʻu ʻamuí. Hangē ko ʻení, ko e kakai ko ia ʻoku nau fili ʻenau kalasí kotoa ʻo fakatefito ʻi heʻene faingofuá ʻoku ʻikai ke nau fakaʻaongaʻi kakato honau mālohí pea malava pē ke nau tanu honau ngaahi talēnití.

8. Ke ke fie ʻilo. ʻOkú ke toe ako lahi ange kapau ʻokú ke fie ʻilo mo ʻeke ha ngaahi fehuʻi. ʻIkai ngata aí, te ke hoko ko ha taha fakamānako ki he niʻihi kehé ʻi hoʻo tokanga ki he ngaahi meʻá. Manatuʻi, ʻoku hoko e akó he taimi kotoa pē, ʻi he feituʻu kotoa pē, kae ʻikai ʻi he ʻapi akó pē.

9. Te ke lava ʻo fai ia. ʻOku ʻi ai ha faikehekehe ʻi he faingataʻá mo e taʻe malavá. ʻE ngali faingataʻa ho hala ki he akó, ka te ke lava pē ʻo fai ia. Ko e akó ko e taha ia ʻo e ngaahi meʻa ke ke fakahoko ʻi he māmaní.

Ngaahi taukeí

1. Ako ʻa e meʻa ʻokú ke ʻofa aí; pea ʻofa he meʻa ʻokú ke akó. Fekumi ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku fakafiefia mo fakamānako moʻoni kiate koé, pea tuli tāupaua kinautolu. Kae ako foki ki he founga ke sio ai ki hono mahuʻingá ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē ʻokú ke akó.

2. Lau tohi ke fiefia. Lau ha meʻa ʻoku leleí, ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē: ngaahi tohi, makasini, ʻū uepisaiti, ha faʻahinga meʻa pē ʻoku maʻu ai ha fakamatala pe fakamāfana ki he lotó. Ko kinautolu ʻoku nau lau e nāunau leleí ʻoku faʻa angamaheni ʻaki ke nau fai lelei ange ʻi he akó mo moʻui fiefia.

3. Tokanga ki he founga hoʻo tokangaʻi ʻa e loto-hohaʻá. ʻAi ke ke ʻiloʻi e meʻa ʻokú ne fakatupu hoʻo loto-hohaʻá pea ko e ʻiloʻi ko ia e founga lelei taha hono fakasiʻisiʻi hoʻo loto-hohaʻá ko ha taukei mahuʻinga ia ki he moʻuí.

4. Kole tokoni ʻi he taimi ʻokú ke fie maʻu aí—pea kole ki he kakai te nau lava moʻoni ʻo tokoní. Pe te ke tui ki ai pe ʻikai, ka ko ha taukei ʻa e kole tokoní. Ko hono ʻiloʻi kei taimi ko ia ʻokú ke fihiá mo e maʻu ha tokoni leleí ʻe lava ke ne fakahoko e faikehekehe ʻi hoʻo moʻuí.

5. Vahevahe lelei ho taimí. ʻOku fakapapauʻi ʻe he vahevahe e taimí ko e ngaahi meʻa ko ia ʻokú ke pehē te ke fakamuʻomuʻá ko e ngaahi meʻa moʻoni ia ʻokú ke fakamuʻomuʻá. Kumi ha founga ʻoku fakafiemālie kiate koé pea mo tokoni ia ke ke aʻusia hoʻo ngaahi taumuʻá.
