“ʻIkai.”
“Ka naʻá ke ako ha meʻa?”
“ʻIkai,” ko e tali ange ia ʻa Luká. “Ka naʻá ku lotu pē he uiké kotoa!”

Naʻe pehē ʻe Luka, “Ke u manatuʻi e meʻa naʻá ku akó.”
“Ko e moʻoni ia. ʻOku ngāue lelei taha ʻa e lotú he taimi ʻoku tau fai ai ʻetau tafaʻakí mo kole ki he Tamai Hēvaní ke tokoni maí,” ko e Tangataʻeikí ange ia.
“Ko ʻeku tafaʻakí leva ke u kamata ako ʻeku kaati fiká?” ko e fehuʻi ange ia ʻa Luká.
“Ko ia,” ko e tali ange ia e Tangataʻeikí mo ne paasi fakafoki e foʻi pulú kia Luká.
Naʻe mapuhoi ʻa Luka peá ne fakahuuʻi e foʻi pulú. Naʻe ʻikai ke hū e foʻi pulú. “OK. ʻE fie maʻu ki ai ha ngāue lahi. Ka ʻoku ou tui te u lava ʻo ako mālohi mo kole ki he Tamai Hēvaní ke tokoni mai kiate au.”
