Na‘á ku feinga mālohi ke u hao ‘i hono taki fakamālohi‘i atu aú, ka ko hoku va‘e pē taha na‘e homó, ‘o u ‘akahi ‘aki ha taha ‘o e kau tangatá, pea tō ai ‘i he kaka-‘anga he matapā hū‘angá. Neongo ‘a e me‘a fakamamahí ni, ka na‘e tu‘u ma‘u pē ‘a e Palōfitá ‘i hono fakahoko hono ngaahi fatongia ki he ‘Eikí. Ko e ‘aho hono hokó ko e Sāpate. ‘Oku lekooti ‘i he tohinoa ‘a e Palōfitá ‘i he ‘aho 1 ‘o Sānuali 1836, ‘o pehē: “Ko e kamata‘anga ‘eni ‘o ha ta‘u fo‘ou, pea ‘oku fonu fakafeta‘i hoku lotó ki he ‘Otuá ‘i He‘ene fakahaofi mai ‘eku mo‘uí, pea mo e mo‘ui ‘a hoku fāmilí, ‘i he ta‘u ko ia na‘e toki ‘osí. Na‘e pouaki mo fakamālohia kitautolu ‘i he lotolotonga ‘o e to‘u tangata faiangahala mo koví ni, pea neongo na‘a tau fehangahangai mo e ngaahi me‘a fakamamahi, ngaahi ‘ahi‘ahi, mo e mamahi kotoa ‘oku hoko ‘i he mo‘ui ‘a e tangatá; ‘oku ou ongo‘i ‘i he me‘á ni ke fakaloto mā‘ulalo‘i au ‘o fakaefuefu, ‘o hangē ko ia na‘e hoko ‘i he ‘ao ‘o e ‘Eikí ‘i mu‘á.”16
