1. “Fili”
Naʻe akoʻi ʻe ʻEletā Teili G. Lenilani ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ʻo pehē, “Ko e taumuʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní ʻi he tuʻunga fakaemātuʻá, ʻoku ʻikai ke ʻai ʻEne fānaú ke fai ʻa ia ʻoku totonú; ka ko e ʻai ʻEne fānaú ke nau fili ke fai ‘a e meʻa ‘oku totonú pea iku hoko ʻo tatau mo Ia.”1
ʻI he Tohi ʻa Molomoná, ʻoku fakahā mai ʻe Līhai kiate kitautolu “ke fakahoko ai ʻa e ngaahi taumuʻa taʻengata [ʻa e ʻOtuá] ki he ikuʻanga fakaʻosi ʻo e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá, … naʻe tuku ʻe he ʻEiki ko e ʻOtuá ki he tangatá ʻa e tauʻatāina ke ne fili maʻaná” (2 Nīfai 2:15–16).
ʻE lava ke fakatou fakaofo mo fakatupu tailiili ʻetau meʻa-foaki fakalangi ke filí. Ne ʻikai ke fuʻu fuoloa, ne u talanoa mo ha fefine ʻi hono taʻu 20 tupu siʻí. ʻI heʻeku fakafanongó, ne u fakakaukau ki he ngaahi lea ko ʻeni meia Sosiuá: “Ke ke mālohi koe peá ke loto toʻa; ʻoua naʻá ke manavahē, pea ʻoua naʻá ke puputuʻu: he ko [e ʻEiki] ko ho ʻOtuá ʻoku ʻiate koe ia ʻi he potu kotoa pē ʻokú ke ʻalu ki aí” (Sosiua 1:9).
Ko e ngaahi filí ko e konga ia ʻo e palani fakalangi ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní. ʻOku fakatefito ʻetau aʻusia fakamatelie kotoa pē ʻi heʻetau tauʻatāina ke filí. ʻOkú ne fakafaingofuaʻi ʻetau fakalakalaka taʻengatá.
Na‘e akoʻi ‘e Palesiteni Lāsolo M. Nalesoni, “Kapau ʻokú ke loto ke mou fiefia, fili ‘a e hala ʻo e ‘Eiki.”2
Maʻu ha loto-to‘a ke fili ʻa e totonú ‘o fakatatau mo e ngaahi fuakava kuó ke faí.

Tau toe foki ki he fakatātā ʻo ʻeku kei tupu hake ʻi he vao ʻakau ʻi he toafá. Makehe mei he ʻuluʻakau ʻa Sosiuá, ne u faʻa mamata ki he tamupolouití (tumbleweeds). Kehe pē ke fehokotaki ʻa e tamupolouití mo honau aká ʻi he kelekelé, pea ʻoku nau tuʻu maʻu leva, moʻui, mo tupulaki. Ka ʻoku ʻi ai ʻa e ʻuhinga ʻo e hingoa tamupolouití.
