Naʻe hoko ʻa Selusalema ko e potu ne iku mamahi mo pekia ai ʻa e Fakamoʻuí. Naʻe mei lava pē ke fehiʻa mo houhau ʻi he koló mo hono kakaí; ka naʻá Ne faʻa fakahaaʻi maʻu pē ha loto mamahi ʻi heʻenau faiangahalá mo fakafisi ke fakatomalá.

ʻI he toe ha ngaahi ʻaho pea Tutukí, naʻe hāʻele atu ʻa Sīsū ki loto Selusalema ʻi ha ʻasi. Naʻe fiefia ha kau muimui tokolahi, ʻo nau fola honau ngaahi kofú ʻi he kelekelé ʻi muʻa ʻiate Ia mo fakahīkihikiʻi ʻa e ʻOtuá. (Vakai, Luke 19:28–38. Naʻe faleʻi ʻe Palesiteni ʻUkitofa: “ʻOku lahi fau e loto mamahí mo e faingataʻaʻiá ʻi he moʻui ko ʻení taʻe tānaki atu ki ai ʻetau loto fefeká, loto tāufehiʻá, mo e loto tāngiá. … Kuo pau ke tau siʻaki ʻetau loto mamahí. … Ko e founga ia ʻa e ʻEikí.6

ʻOku ʻi ai hamou niʻihi ʻoku puke ʻiate kimoutolu? … ʻOmi ʻa kinautolu ki heni pea te u fakamoʻui ʻa kinautolu, he ʻoku ou ʻofa mamahi kiate kimoutolu; ʻoku fonu hoku lotó ʻi he ʻaloʻofa” (3 Nīfai 17:5–7; ʻoku tānaki atu ʻa e fakamamafaʻí). ʻOku taʻe-fakangatangata ʻEne ʻaloʻofá. Te Ne tāpuakiʻi kitautolu ʻaki e meʻaʻofa fakalangi ʻo e ʻaloʻofá kapau te tau omi kiate Ia (vakai, Molonai 10:32).
