Isaiah Praises the Lord

Isaiah 25 records Isaiah’s gratitude for what the Lord has done and will do, including the eventual destruction of the proud and wicked and the rewarding of the humble, faithful, and obedient. He said that those who “wait” for the Lord in faithfulness (meaning that they remain faithful to the Lord while they wait for Him to fulfill all His words—even when it may not seem that doing so is worth it at the time) will be rewarded in time, and their reward will be glorious.
