Isaiah 53

Jesus Christ’s Suffering Foretold

Many people love and quote Isaiah 53 because of its moving testimony of the mission of Jesus Christ. This chapter contains Isaiah’s prophecy of a Messiah who would save His people, not by the sword and war, but through humble suffering. Read Isaiah 53 carefully and be sensitive to what Isaiah was trying to help us feel and understand about the Messiah.
