Condemnation of Zedekiah and the Jews
Jeremiah 34 contains prophecies Jeremiah made about what would happen to King Zedekiah and also about what would happen to the people of Judah. In Jeremiah 34, the Lord specifically condemned the people of Judah for having slaves and servants who were Jews and for breaking the commandment given in the law of Moses to set all servants and slaves free every seventh year.
