Haʻu, ʻo Muimui ʻIate Au

Molonai 7

Ko e Meʻafoaki ʻo e Manavaʻofá

ʻE lava ʻe he ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí ʻo liliu ʻetau moʻuí ʻi heʻetau fekumi ki he meʻaʻofa mahuʻinga ko ʻení.

Ko e hāʻele hifo ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi mei he langí

Kuo fakaafeʻi kitautolu ke tau hoko ʻo hangē ko hotau Fakamoʻui ko Sīsū Kalaisí. Naʻá Ne folofola, “Ko ia, ko e hā ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kimoutolú? Ko e moʻoni ʻoku ou pehē kiate kimoutolu, ke mou hangē pē ko aú” (3 Nīfai 27:27). ʻI heʻetau feinga ke hoko ʻo tatau ange mo Iá, kuo pau ke tau fekumi ki he manavaʻofá ʻo aʻu ki he ngaahi taimi faingataʻa tahá.

Kuo moʻui ʻa e palōfita Nīfai fakamuimuitaha ko Molonaí, ʻi ha tau “fakamanavahē ʻaupito” peá ne fakamoʻoniʻi ʻa hono fakaʻauha kotoa ʻo hono kakaí. ʻI he fakapapau ʻa hono ngaahi filí ke fakaʻauha ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē he ʻikai ke nau fakaʻikaiʻi ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí, naʻe hē toko taha pē ʻa Molonai “ke maluʻi ʻa [ʻene] moʻui [ʻaʻaná]” (Molonai 1:2–3).

ʻI he tūkunga fakamamahi ko ʻení, naʻe tohi ai ʻe Molonai “ha ngaahi meʻa siʻi ʻe niʻihi,” mo e ʻamanaki ʻe “ʻaonga … ʻi ha ʻaho ʻamui” (Molonai 1:4). Naʻá ne fakakau ai ʻa e “ngaahi lea ʻa [ʻene] tamai ko Molomoná,” ʻa ia naʻá ne akoʻi mai “kuo pau ke [tau] maʻu ʻa e manavaʻofá; he kapau ʻoku ʻikai te [tau] maʻu ʻa e manavaʻofá ko e meʻa noa pē [ʻa kitautolu].” Naʻe hoko atu ʻa Molonai ʻo pehē, “Ko e manavaʻofá ʻa e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí pea ʻoku tolonga ia ʻo taʻengata” (Molonai 7:1, 44, 47).

Ko e manavaʻofá ko ha meʻafoaki ia ʻoku tau maʻu ʻi heʻetau “lotu ki he Tamaí ʻaki ʻa e ivi kotoa ʻo e lotó, koeʻuhi ke fakafonu ʻa [kitautolu] ʻaki ʻa e ʻofá ni, ʻa ia kuó ne foaki kiate kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku muimui moʻoni ʻi hono ʻAlo ko Sīsū Kalaisí” (Molonai 7:48).

ʻI he hoko ʻa e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ko ha fakamoʻoni ʻe taha ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻokú ne fakamoʻoni fakaʻofoʻofa ai ki he ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí mo akoʻi mai ʻa e founga te tau lava ai ʻo maʻu ʻa e manavaʻofá ʻi heʻetau moʻuí.

Ko e ʻOfa ʻa Kalaisi Kiate Kitautolú

ʻOku tau ako mei he ngaahi akonaki ʻa Molomoná, ko e manavaʻofá ʻoku fehokotaki mālohi ia mo e Fakamoʻuí. Ko hono fakahaaʻi taupotu taha ʻo e manavaʻofá ko e ʻofa ʻoku maʻu meia Sīsū Kalaisi ʻo fakafou ʻi Heʻene feilaulau fakaleleí.

ʻI ha lea ʻa Molonai ki he ʻEikí, naʻá ne pehē:

“ʻOku ou manatuʻi naʻá ke folofola kuó ke ʻofa ki māmani, ʻo aʻu ki hoʻo tuku hifo hoʻo moʻuí maʻá e māmaní. …

“Pea ko ʻeni ʻoku ou ʻiloʻi ko e ʻofa ʻa ia kuó ke [maʻú] … ko e manavaʻofá ia” (ʻEta 12:33–34).

ʻI he kamataʻanga ʻo e ngāue fakafaifekau ʻa e Fakamoʻui kuo Toetuʻú ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná, naʻá Ne fakaafeʻi ai ʻa e kakaí ke nau omi ʻo ala ki he fakaʻilonga ʻi Hono vakavaká pea mo e ngaahi mataʻi faʻo ʻi Hono toʻukupú mo e toʻukupu kelekelé koeʻuhí ke nau ʻiloʻi Ia mo e meʻa kuó Ne fai ʻi he ʻofa haohaoa ki he māmaní kotoa (vakai, 3 Nīfai 11:14–15).

ʻOku ʻikai teitei ngata ʻa e ʻofa ʻa Kalaisí. Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Molomona ʻoku totonu ke tau “nofo maʻu ʻi he manavaʻofá, ʻa ia ʻoku mahuʻinga taha ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē” (Molonai 7:46). Kuo fakapapauʻi mai ʻe Palesiteni Sefilī R. Hōlani ko e Palesiteni Leʻoleʻo ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá, “ko e ʻofa haohaoa pē ʻa Kalaisí te tau ikuna aí. Ko e ʻofa ʻa Kalaisí ʻoku kātaki fuoloa, pea ʻoku angaʻofa. Ko e ʻofa ʻa Kalaisí ʻoku ʻikai fakafuofuo lahi pe ʻitangofua. Ko ʻEne ʻofa haohaoá pē ʻokú ne fakaʻatā ia—mo kitautolu—ke tau fakahoko ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē, tui ki he meʻa kotoa pē, ʻamanaki lelei ki he meʻa kotoa pē, pea kātekina ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē. [Vakai, Molonai 7:45.]”

Hili ʻa e fanongo ʻa e kakaí ki he lea ʻa e Tuʻi ko Penisimaní kau kia Sīsū Kalaisí, naʻa nau aʻusia “ha fuʻu liliu lahi … ʻi [honau] lotó” pea naʻe “ʻikai ai te [nau] toe maʻu ha holi ke faikovi, kā ke failelei maʻu ai pē” (Mōsaia 5:2).

ʻOku fakatupu ʻe he liliu ko ʻení, ʻa ia ʻoku makatuʻunga ʻia Sīsū Kalaisi pē mo ʻEne Fakaleleí, ha loto ʻiate kitautolu ʻoku fonu ʻi he ʻofa kia Kalaisi. ʻOku mahulu hake ʻa e ʻofa ko ʻení ʻi he fakahoungaʻí, ʻofá, pe tanganeʻiá pē. Kapau ʻoku tau ʻofa moʻoni ʻia Kalaisi, te tau foaki kotoa hotau lotó kiate Ia.

ʻI he taimi naʻe fanongo ai ʻa e tamai ʻa e Tuʻi ko Lamōnaí ki he ongoongoleleí, naʻá ne holi ke maʻu ʻa e Laumālié mo maʻu ʻa e moʻui taʻengatá. Naʻá ne pehē, “Vakai, te u tukuange ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē ʻa ia ʻoku ou maʻú, ʻio, te u liʻaki hoku puleʻangá, koeʻuhi ke u lava ʻo maʻu ʻa e fuʻu fiefia lahi ko ʻení” (ʻAlamā 22:15). Naʻá ne fakahā ki he ʻEikí ʻi he lotu, “Te u liʻaki kotoa ʻeku ngaahi angahalá koeʻuhi ke u ʻiloʻi koe” (ʻAlamā 22:18).

Naʻe fakahaaʻi ʻe ha niʻihi kehe ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻa e ʻofa ko ʻeni kia Kalaisí. Naʻe “tuku hifo [ʻe he kau ʻAnitai-Nīfai-Līhaí] ʻa e ngaahi mahafu tau ʻa ia naʻa nau angatuʻu ʻakí” (ʻAlamā 23:13) pea nau tanu ia ke “loloto ʻi he kelekelé” (ʻAlamā 24:17). Naʻa nau fuakava “ʻe ʻikai ai pē ke nau toe ngāue ʻaki [ʻenau] ngaahi mahafu taú,” pea “ʻe ʻikai te nau lilingi ʻa e toto ʻo honau kāingá ka te nau fie foaki ʻenau moʻui ʻanautolú” (ʻAlamā 24:18). Naʻa nau mātuʻaki ului moʻoni ko ia ai naʻe “ʻikai ke nau toe hē” (ʻAlamā 23:6).

ʻOku tau fakahaaʻi ʻetau ʻofa kia Kalaisí ʻaki hono tauhi ʻEne ngaahi fekaú, maʻu e ngaahi ouau fakamoʻuí mo e hakeakiʻí, fakahoko mo tauhi e ngaahi fuakavá, pea mo e hoko ko ʻEne ākongá. ʻOku tākiekina ʻe heʻetau ʻofa kiate Iá ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku tau faí.

Ko ʻEtau Feʻofaʻakí

Makehe mei he ongoʻi e ʻofa meia Kalaisí mo e ʻofa kia Kalaisí, ʻoku totonu ke tau feinga ke maʻu ʻa e manavaʻofá, pe ko e ʻofa faka-Kalaisí, ki he niʻihi kehé.

Naʻe lotu ʻa ʻĪnosi ʻi he ʻaho mo e pō kakato ke fakamolemoleʻi ʻene ngaahi angahalá. Hili hono fakamolemoleʻi mo fakafonu ia ʻaki e ʻofa ʻa e Fakamoʻuí, naʻá ne lilingi atu hono laumālié kotoa ʻi he lotu maʻa hono kakaí—pea mo hono ngaahi filí (vakai, ʻĪnosi 1:4–12). ʻI he fonu e ngaahi foha ʻo Mōsaiá ʻi he manavaʻofá, naʻa nau “fakaʻamu [foki] ke fakahā ʻa e fakamoʻuí ki he kakai fulipē, he naʻe ʻikai te nau faʻa kātakiʻi ke malaʻia ha laumālie ʻo ha taha” (Mōsaia 28:3).

ʻOku hikiʻi hake ʻe he manavaʻofá ʻa e anga ʻo ʻetau vakai mo e feohi mo e niʻihi kehé. Kuo akoʻi mai ʻe Palesiteni Lāsolo M. Nalesoni: “ʻOku ueʻi kitautolu ʻe he ʻofa faka-Kalaisí ke tau ‘fefuaʻaki [ʻetau] ngaahi kavengá’ [Mōsaia 18:8] kae ʻikai ko hono fakalahi ʻo e fefakakavengaʻakí. ʻOku fakaʻatā kitautolu ʻe he ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Kalaisí ke tau ‘tuʻu ko e kau fakamoʻoni ʻo e ʻOtuá ʻi he taimi kotoa pē pea ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē’ [Mōsaia 18:9]—tautefito ki he ngaahi tūkunga puputuʻú.”

ʻI he taimi naʻe haʻi ai ʻe he ongo taʻokete ʻo Nīfaí hono ongo nimá mo e vaʻé ʻaki ʻa e ngaahi afo, ʻo na fakataumuʻa ke tuku ia ke ne mate ʻi he feituʻu maomaonganoá, naʻe lotua ʻe Nīfai ha tokoni pea fakahaofi ia ʻe he ʻEikí (vakai, 1 Nīfai 7:16–18). Naʻe ʻikai feinga ʻa Nīfai ke sāuniʻi hono ongo taʻoketé, ʻo hangē ko ia ʻe fai ʻe he tangata fakakakanó, naʻá ne fakatātaaʻi ʻa e founga ʻoku “kātaki fuoloa” ai ʻa e manavaʻofá (Molonai 7:45) ʻaki ʻene “fakamolemoleʻi moʻoni ʻa kinaua ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē kuó na faí” (vakai, 1 Nīfai 7:21).

Kapau naʻe maʻu ʻe he taha kotoa ʻa e meʻafoaki ʻo e manavaʻofá, te tau fakatokangaʻi ʻa e meʻa naʻe aʻusia ʻe he kakai ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná hili e ʻaʻahi ʻa e Fakamoʻuí kiate kinautolú, akoʻi kinautolu, mo fokotuʻu Hono Siasí ʻi honau lotolotongá: “Naʻe ʻikai ha ngaahi fekeʻikeʻi … koeʻuhi ko e ʻofa ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻa ia naʻe ʻi [honau lotó]” (4 Nīfai 1:15).

Ko ha Meʻaʻofa Matuʻaki Mahuʻinga

ʻI he fanongo ʻa Nīfai ki he lea ʻene tamaí ʻo kau ki heʻene mata meʻa-hā-mai ki he ʻakau ʻo e moʻuí, naʻe pehē ʻe Nīfai “naʻá ku fakaʻamu foki ke u lava ʻo mamata, mo fanongo, mo ʻiloʻi ʻa e ngaahi meʻa ko iá, ʻi he mālohi ʻo e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní” (1 Nīfai 10:17). Naʻe monūʻia ʻa Nīfai ke ako lahi ange fekauʻaki mo e manavaʻofá ʻi heʻene mamata ki he ʻakau ʻo e moʻuí, ʻa ia ʻokú ne fakafofongaʻi ʻa e ʻofa ʻa e ʻOtuá—“ʻoku lelei taha ia ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē” mo “fakafiefia taha ia ki he laumālié” (1 Nīfai 11: 22, 23).

Naʻe tohi ʻe Nīfai kimui ange ʻo pehē:

“Ko ia, kuo pau ke mou vivili atu ki muʻa ʻi he tui mālohi kia Kalaisi, pea maʻu ʻa e ʻamanaki ʻoku mālohi haohaoa, mo ha ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá mo e kakai fulipē” (2 Nīfai 31:20; tānaki atu hono fakamamafaʻí).

Te tau tuʻu ʻi ha ʻaho ʻi he ʻao ʻo e Fakamoʻuí. ʻI he ʻaho ko iá, kapau kuo tau maʻu ha fakakaukau totonu ki Hono ʻulungāngá, tōʻongá, mo e fatongia ko hotau Huhuʻí, “te tau tatau mo ia, he te tau mamata kiate ia” (Molonai 7:48). Naʻe aʻusia ʻeni ʻe he tokoua ʻo Sēletí ʻi heʻene tuʻu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí, ʻa ia naʻá ne pehē, “Kuo teʻeki ai te u fakahā au ki ha tangata … , he kuo teʻeki ai tui ha tangata kiate au ʻo hangē ko koé. ʻIkai kuó ke vakai naʻe fakatupu koe ʻi hoku tatau ʻoʻokú?” (ʻEta 3:15).

Koeʻuhí ko Sīsū Kalaisi, “[te] tau maʻu ʻa e ʻamanaki leleí ni; koeʻuhi ke fakahaohaoaʻi ʻa kitautolu ʻo hangē ko ʻene haohaoá” (Molonai 7:48). ʻOku taʻe-malava ke tau aʻusia toko taha ʻeni. ʻOku foaki mai ʻa e manavaʻofá kiate kitautolu ko ha meʻaʻofa meiate Ia, pea kapau “ʻe ʻiloʻi [ʻoku tau] maʻu ia ʻi he ʻaho fakaʻosí, ʻe lelei ia kiate [kitautolu]” (Molonai 7:47).

ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ʻoku maʻu ʻe he meʻafoaki ʻo e manavaʻofá ʻa e mālohi ke liliu ʻa e moʻui ʻa e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá ʻo kapau te tau fakaʻatā ia. Fakatauange ke tau lotu ʻaki e kotoa hotau lotó ke maʻu e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa e Fakamoʻuí maʻatautolú, tupulaki ʻi heʻetau ʻofa kiate Iá, pea vahevahe ʻa e meʻaʻofa matuʻaki mahuʻinga ko ʻení mo e niʻihi kehé ʻi heʻetau hoko ko ʻEne kau muimui moʻoní.
