The Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek, Isa. 61:1 (Luke 4:16–21). Arise, go unto Nineveh, and preach unto it, Jonah 3:2–10. From that time Jesus began to preach, Matt. 4:17. Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, Mark 16:15. We preach Christ crucified, 1 Cor. 1:22–24. He went and preached unto the spirits in prison, 1 Pet. 3:19. There was nothing save it were preaching and stirring them up continually to keep them in fear of the Lord, Enos 1:23.
