My Thanks Today

With gratitude

1. Dear Lord, I thank Thee for this day
of blessings rich and rare.
I thank Thee for the joy of earth
about me ev’rywhere.

I’m glad to be alive and share
the things I hear and see.
So please accept my little prayer
of praise and thanks to Thee.

2. I thank Thee for the birds that sing,
for butterflies and bees,
for flowers nodding in the sun,
for wavring grass and trees.
