ʻOku nau hoko ko ha niʻihi mahuʻinga ʻi hono toe fakamatalaʻi e taha ʻo e ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga taha kuo hoko ʻi he hisitōlia ʻo e faʻahinga e tangatá: ʻa hono ʻaloʻi ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí. Hangē ko e ngaahi talanoa kotoa kau kia Kalaisí, ʻoku fonu e talanoa ki Hono ʻaloʻí ʻi ha ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga te tau lava ʻo ako kau ki he ngāue fakaetauhí, pea mo hono vahevahe ʻEne māmá ke fakamāmaʻi ʻa e māmaní. Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Henelī B. ʻAealingi, ko e Tokoni Ua ʻi he Kau Palesitenisī ʻUluakí, “Ko e talanoa ʻo e Kilisimasí ko ha talanoa ia ʻo e ʻofa.

“… ʻI he ngaahi talanoa ki he ʻaloʻi ʻo Kalaisí, ʻoku tau lava ʻo vakai mo ongoʻi ai ko hai Ia. ‘Oku fakamaʻamaʻa ai ʻetau kavengá ‘i he fonongá. Pea te ne taki ke tau fakangaloʻi kitautolu pea fakamaʻamaʻa e kavengá maʻá e niʻihi kehé.”1

“Naʻe ‘ikai te nau hao ʻi he fale talifonongá” (Luke 2: 7.)

Ko e Tīsema kotoa pē, te nau aleaʻi pea fili pe ko hai te nau fie fakaafeʻí.2 Mahalo ʻe lava homou fāmilí ʻo kamataʻi ha tukufakaholo meimei tatau.

Ko e hā ha founga lelei ange ke fakafiefiaʻi ʻaki e Fakamoʻuí ka ko e muimui ʻi Heʻene sīpinga hono fakakau mai e niʻihi kehé?

“Pea naʻe ʻi he fonua ko iá ʻa e kau tauhi sipi ʻoku nofo ʻi he ngoué, ʻo leʻohi ʻenau fanga sipí ʻi he poʻulí” (Luke 2:8)

‘Oku ngali feʻunga e kau ʻa e kau tauhi-sipí ʻi he niʻihi ke fuofua feʻiloaki mo e Fakamoʻuí ʻi Heʻene kei valevalé. Naʻe ui ʻe he kau palōfita he kuonga muʻá ʻa Sīsū Kalaisi ko e “Tauhi ʻo ʻIsilelí” (Saame 80:1) pea mo e “Tauhi-sipi … ki he māmaní kotoa” (1 Nīfai 13:41). Ko hono ʻiloʻi mo tauhi ʻetau fanga sipí ko ha konga mahuʻinga ia ʻo e tauhi mo e ngāue fakaetauhi ʻo hangē ko ia ne fai ʻe he Fakamoʻuí.

‘I he ulo ʻa e ngaahi māmá mo e ngaahi teuteu fakaʻofoʻofá, ʻoku lahi ha ngaahi meʻa ke vakai ki ai lolotonga e taimi Kilisimasí. Kae mahalo ʻe lava ke maʻu e fakaʻofoʻofa maʻongoʻonga taha ʻo e faʻahitaʻú ʻi heʻetau manatuʻi ke tukutaha ʻetau tokangá ʻi he niʻihi ʻoku tau ngāue fakaetauhi ki aí pea leʻohi ʻetau tākangá. ʻE lava ke hoko ʻa e leʻohí ʻi hano ʻiloʻi e meʻa ʻoku saiʻia taha ai ha tokotaha pe fehuʻi ki ha tokotaha fekauʻaki mo ʻene ngaahi palani ki he ʻaho mālōloó. ‘Oku tau leʻohi ʻi heʻetau mamata pea feau e ngaahi fie maʻu ʻa e niʻihi kehé—ʻa e meʻa ʻoku mahinó mo ʻikai mahinó fakatouʻosi.

ʻI he tuʻunuku mai ʻa hono fuofua Kilisimasi toko tahá, naʻe fakautuutu ange ʻene ongoʻi tuenoá. Kae fakamālō naʻe ʻi ai ʻa Souna ko e fefine ngāue fakaetauhi ki aí. Naʻe fakaafeʻi ʻe Souna mo hono husepāniti ko Simí ʻa Seli ke nau ʻeva ʻi ha ngaahi ʻaho mālōlō lahi. Naʻá na fakatokangaʻi ne motuʻa e kote ʻa Selí peá na fakakaukau ke fai ha meʻa.

Neongo mahalo he ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo fakaafeʻi hotau kaungāmeʻá ke nau omi ʻo mamata ki he Fakamoʻui valevalé, ka te tau lava ʻo fakaafeʻi kinautolu ke nau ongoʻi e laumālie ʻo e Kilisimasí ʻaki ʻetau ngāue tokoni fakatahá.

Ko ia ai, vahevahe ʻa e māmá ʻaki hono fakaafeʻi e niʻihi kehé ke mou ngāue tokoni fakataha! Te mou lava ʻo ongoʻi fakataha e maama ʻoku maʻu mei he muimui ki he sīpinga ʻo e ngāue tokoni ʻa Kalaisí.

‘Oku faingofua ke fakakaukauloto ki he fiefia ʻa e kau tauhi-sipí ʻi heʻenau vahevahe e ongoongo fakaofo ʻo hono ʻaloʻi ʻo Kalaisí mo e kakai toko lahi taha ne nau lavá. Ne talaki ʻe he kau ʻāngeló, kuo hāʻele mai ʻa e Mīsaia ne kikiteʻí! Kuó Ne ʻi heni! Ko e moʻoní, ko hono vahevahe e ongoongo lelei ʻo e Fakamoʻuí ko ha kaveinga lahi ia ʻo e talanoa ʻo e ʻAloʻí. Naʻe hiva ʻa e kau ʻāngeló. Naʻe tataki ʻe he fetuʻú ʻa e halá. Pea naʻe talaki ia ʻe he kau tauhi-sipí ʻi he ngaahi fonua mamaʻó.

Te tau lava ʻo tānaki hotau leʻó ki he talanoa ʻo e Kilisimasí ʻaki hono vahevahe e ongoongo leleí mo fakamoʻoni ki he Fakamoʻuí. “Ko e hā ‘a e meʻa ʻoku ueʻi au ʻe he Laumālié ke u faí?”5
