Tā fakatātā ʻa Simone Shin

Ko e ʻOtua ko ʻetau Tamaí mo Hono ʻAlo ko Sīsū Kalaisí, ko e ongo tangata kakato, haohaoa, pea faitotonu mo moʻoni kakato. Ko e ngaahi foha mo e ʻofefine kitautolu ʻo e ʻOtuá. Ko ʻetau taumuʻa folaú ke hoko ʻo hangē ko Iá. ʻOku tau feinga ke faitotonu mo moʻoni kakato hangē ko ʻetau Tamaí mo Hono ʻAló. ʻOku fakamatalaʻi ʻe he faitotonú ʻa e ʻulungaanga ʻo e ʻOtuá (vakai, ʻĪsaia 65:16), pea ʻoku hoko ai ʻa e faitotonú ko e uho ʻo ʻetau tupulaki fakalaumālié mo e ngaahi meʻafoaki fakalaumālié.

Naʻe fakahā ʻe Sīsū, “Ko au ko e hala, mo e moʻoni, pea mo e moʻui” (Sione 14:6; vakai foki, Sione 18:37; T&F 84:45; 93:36).

Naʻe fehuʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ki he tokoua ʻo Sēletí, “ʻOkú ke tui ki he ngaahi lea ʻa ia te u lea ʻakí?”

Pea tali ʻe he tokoua ʻo Sēletí, “ʻIo, ʻEiki, ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻokú ke folofola ʻaki ʻa e moʻoní, he ko e ʻOtua koe ʻo e moʻoní, pea ʻoku ʻikai te ke loi” (ʻEta 3:11, 12).

Pea ko e folofola hangatonu ʻeni ʻa e Fakamoʻuí: “Ko au ‘a e Laumālie ʻo e moʻoní” (T&F 93:26; vakai foki, veesi 24). “ʻOku ou tala ʻa e moʻoní kiate kimoutolu” (Sione 16:7; vakai foki, veesi 13).

ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻoku fakamatalaʻi ʻa Sētane ko e tamai ʻo e ngaahi loí: “Pea naʻá ne hoko ko Sētane, ʻio, ko e tēvoló, ko e tamai ʻa e ngaahi loi kotoa pē, ke kākaaʻi mo fakakuihi ʻa e tangatá, pea ke tataki pōpula ʻa kinautolu ʻi heʻene faʻitelihá, ʻio ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē ʻe ʻikai tokanga ki hoku leʻó” (Mōsese 4:4).

Naʻe pehē ʻe Sīsū, “Ko e tēvoló … naʻe ʻikai nofo maʻu ʻi he moʻoní, he ʻoku ʻikai ha moʻoni ʻiate ia. ʻO ka lea ʻaki ʻe ia ʻa e loí, ʻokú ne lea ʻaki ʻene meʻa ʻaʻana: he ko e loi ia” (Sione 8:44; vakai foki, T&F 93:39).

Naʻe valokiʻi maʻu pē ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻa kinautolu naʻa nau talaki fakahāhā ha meʻa kehe kae fai e meʻa kehe ʻi honau lotó (vakai, Mātiu 23:27). Naʻá ne fakahīkihikiʻi ʻa kinautolu naʻa nau moʻui taʻe ha kākaá (vakai, T&F 124:15). ʻOku mou lava ʻo fakatokangaʻi ʻa e faikehekehé? ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe taha ‘oku ‘i ai ʻa e loí, kākaá, mālualoí mo e fakapoʻulí. ʻI he tafaʻaki leva ʻe tahá ‘oku ‘i ai ʻa e moʻoní, māmá, faitotonú, mo e angatonú. ʻOku fakamahino lelei ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa e fakafaikehekehé.

Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Tōmasi S. Monisoni:

“Kuo ʻosi atu e taimi ia naʻe meimei fenāpasi lelei ai e tuʻunga moʻui ʻa e Siasí pea mo e sosaietí, ka kuó na faikehekehe lahi ʻeni kinaua pea ʻoku fakaʻau pē ke toe lahi ange. …

“Naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe he Fakamoʻui e faʻahinga ʻo e tangatá Ia ko ha taha ʻi māmani kae ʻikai ʻo māmani [vakai, Sione 17:14; T&F 49:5]. ʻE lava foki ke tau ʻi he māmaní kae ʻikai ʻo māmani ʻa kitautolu, ʻi heʻetau fakasītuʻaʻi ʻa e ngaahi fakakaukau mo e akonaki halá ka tau faipau ki he fekau ʻa e ʻOtuá.”1

ʻE talamai ʻe he māmaní kiate kitautolu ʻoku faingataʻa ke fakamatalaʻi ʻa e moʻoní mo e faitotonú. ʻOku fakakata ʻaki ʻe he māmaní e fanga kiʻi loi īkí pea tukunoaʻi vave pē ʻa e meʻa ʻoku ui ko e loi “fāi-noá”. ʻOku hā nenefu ʻa e faikehekehe ʻo e tonú mei he halá, pea ʻoku fakasiʻia ʻa e nunuʻa ʻo e taʻefaitotonú.

Koeʻuhí ke maʻu maʻu ai pē ʻa e Laumālie ʻo e Moʻoní—ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní—kuo pau ke tau fakafonu ʻetau moʻuí ʻaki ʻa e moʻoní mo e faitotonú. ʻOku ʻā hotau mata fakalaumālié ki he fakamaama lahi angé, ʻi heʻetau fakaʻau ke faitotonu kakato angé.

ʻE lava ʻo mahinongofua kiate koe e founga hono hiki hake ʻe he ivi fakalaumālie ko ʻení hoʻomou ako ʻi he loki akó. Ka te mou lava ʻapē ke ʻilo e kaunga ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení ki he ngaahi fili mahuʻinga ki he founga hoʻo ngāue ʻaki ho taimí, mo kinautolu ʻokú ke fakamoleki ai ho taimí, mo e founga hoʻo fakatupulaki hoʻo moʻuí?

He ʻikai ke ke lava ʻo fakamavahevaheʻi ʻa e fakakoloa fakalaumālie ʻo e moʻoni ʻokú ke fie maʻú mo ʻete hoko ko ha tangata faitotonu mo moʻoni. ʻOku fekauʻaki ʻa e moʻoni ʻokú ke kumí mo e tuʻunga ʻokú ke ʻi aí. ʻOku taʻefeliliuaki ʻa e fehokotaki ʻa e māmá, ngaahi tali fakalaumālié, mo e fakahinohino fakalangí mo hoʻo faitotonú mo e moʻoní. Ko e konga lahi hoʻo fiemālie tuʻuloa ʻi he moʻuí, ʻe hoko ia ʻi hoʻo toutou hiki hake hoʻo tukupā ke faitotonu fakatāutahá.

Naʻe vahevahe ʻe Uloi D. ʻAtekini ʻa e talanoa ko ʻení:

“Naʻe nofo ha kau ako tokolahi ʻi he ʻosi [hoku] ʻuluaki taʻú, [pea] fakaʻau ke toe feʻauʻauhi ange ʻeku ngaahi kalasi ako toketā nifó. Naʻe ngāue mālohi ʻa e taha kotoa ke kau ʻi he kau tuʻukimuʻa ʻi he kalasí. ʻI he fakaʻau ke lahi ange ʻa e feʻauʻauhí, naʻe fakakaukau ha kau ako ia ʻe niʻihi ko e founga ke nau ikuna aí ko e kākā. Naʻe uesia lahi au ʻe he meʻá ni. …

“… Naʻá ku ʻiloʻi he ʻikai ke u lava ʻo kākā.

“Naʻa mau toe sivi ʻi he kalasi tatau pē. Ko e taimi naʻe tufa mai ai ʻa e siví, naʻe ongona ha ngulungulu. Ko ha sivi ia kuo teʻeki ai tufa mai ʻe he faiakó kimuʻa. ʻI he taimi naʻe tufa mai ai ʻemau sivi kuo ʻosi fakamāká, naʻá ku maʻu ʻa e taha ʻo e ngaahi maaka māʻolunga taha ʻi he kalasí. Talu mei ai, mo e foʻou ʻa e ngaahi siví kotoa.”2

Koeʻuhí ko e kau ākonga kitautolu ʻa Kalaisi, ʻoku tupulekina e tuʻunga moʻui fakalangi ʻo e faitotonú ʻiate kitautolu. Ko e naʻinaʻi ʻa e Tuʻi ko Penisimaní ʻi he Tohi ʻa Molomoná, ke “[liʻaki] ʻa e tangata fakakakanó” (Mōsaia 3:19) ko ha konga ia ʻo ha ui ke tau toe moʻui faitotonu mo moʻoni ange.

Naʻe faleʻi ʻe he ʻAposetolo ko Paulá ʻa e kakai ʻEfesoó, ke “Siʻaki … e tangata motuʻá, ʻa ia ʻoku fakalieliá … pea ke fakafoʻou kimoutolu ʻi he tefito ʻo homou lotó.” Hili ia pea fai ʻe Paula ha faleʻi pau ʻi he hoko ko ha “tangata foʻou” pe ko ha “fefine foʻoú”: ko e meʻa ʻuluaki naʻá ne talaange ke nau faí ko hono “[siʻaki] ʻa e loí, kae takitaha lea ʻaki ʻa e moʻoní” (vakai, ʻEfesō 4:22–25; vakai foki, Kolose 3:9; 3 Nīfai 30:2).

ʻOku ou saiʻia he ʻuhinga ko ʻeni ʻo e faitotonú: “Ko e faitotonú ke fai moʻoni mo angatonu kakato.” Ko e faitotonú foki ko “[hono] maʻu ha loto-toʻa ke fakahoko ʻa [hoʻo] ngaahi tōʻongá ke fenāpasi mo [hoʻo] ʻiloʻi ko ia ʻo e ngaahi meʻa ʻoku totonú mei he meʻa ʻoku halá.”3

Naʻe hangē naʻe fakamamafa kotoa ʻa e ngaahi fehuʻí ki he meʻa naʻá ku tui ki aí. ‘ʻOkú ke ifi tapaka?’ ‘ʻOkú ke inu kava mālohi?’ ‘‘Ko e hā haʻo fakakaukau ki he niʻihi ʻoku nau ifi tapaka pe inu kava mālohí?’ Naʻe ʻikai faingataʻa ʻeku tali ʻa e ngaahi fehuʻi ko iá.

Te ke kamata fai ʻa e aleapaú koeʻuhí he ʻoku ʻi ai ha meʻa ʻokú ke fakaʻamu ke maʻu ai. Hili iá, koeʻuhí ko ha liliu ʻi he ngaahi tūkungá, he ʻikai ke ke toe loto koe ke tauhi ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga ʻo e aleapaú.
