Ko e ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí, tā fakatātaaʻi ʻe Del Parson

ʻI he māmani ko ʻeni ʻoku ʻi ai e ngaahi tau mo e ongoongo ʻo e taú, ʻoku lahi ange ʻa e fiemaʻu ʻo e moʻoní, māmá, mo e ʻofa haohaoa ʻa Sīsū Kalaisí. ʻOku nāunauʻia e ongoongolelei ʻo Kalaisí, pea ʻoku tau monūʻia ke ako ia mo moʻui fakatatau ki hono ngaahi akonakí. ʻOku tau fiefia ʻi hotau ngaahi faingamālie ke vahevahe iá—ke fakamoʻoni ki hono ngaahi moʻoní ʻi ha feituʻu pē ʻoku tau ʻi ai.

Kuó u toutou lea ʻo kau ki he mahuʻinga ʻo e fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahamé pea mo hono tānaki ʻo ʻIsilelí. Ko e taimi ʻoku tau tali ai ʻa e ongoongoleleí pea papitaisó, ʻoku tau toʻo kiate kitautolu ʻa e huafa toputapu ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí. Ko e papitaisó ʻa e matapā ʻoku fakatau ki he hoko ko e kaungā ʻea-hoko ki he ngaahi talaʻofa kotoa ne fai ʻe he ʻEikí he kuonga muʻá kia ʻĒpalahame, ʻAisake, Sēkope, mo honau hakó.1

“ʻOku tatau pē ʻa e fuakava foʻou mo taʻengatá”2 (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 132:6) mo e fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahamé—ko ha founga ʻe ua ʻo hono ui ʻo e fuakava naʻe fai ʻe he ʻOtuá mo e kakai tangata mo fafine fakamatelié ʻi ha ngaahi taimi kehekehe.

ʻOku fakahā ʻe he hoanauna ko e taʻengatá naʻe ʻi ai ʻa e fuakavá ni ʻi he teʻeki ai ke ʻai ʻa e tuʻunga ʻo e māmaní! Naʻe kau ʻi he palani naʻe fokotuʻu ʻi he Fakataha Lahi ʻi he Langí ʻa e ʻiloʻi fakapapau ʻe motuhi kotoa kitautolu mei he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá. Ka neongo ia, naʻe talaʻofa ʻa e ʻOtuá te Ne ʻomi ha Fakamoʻui te Ne ikunaʻi ʻa e ngaahi nunuʻa ʻo e Hingá. Naʻe folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá kia ʻĀtama hili hono papitaisó:

“Pea ʻokú ke kau ki he lakanga ʻo ia naʻe ʻikai hano kamataʻanga ʻo hono ngaahi ʻahó pe ngataʻanga ʻo hono ngaahi taʻú, mei he taʻengatá kotoa ki he taʻengatá hono kotoa.

“Vakai, ʻokú ke taha ʻiate au, ko ha foha ʻo e ʻOtuá; pea ʻe pehē ha lava ke hoko ʻa e kakai kotoa pē ko hoku ngaahi foha” (Mōsese 6:67–68).

Naʻe tali ʻe ʻĀtama mo ʻIvi ʻa e ouau ʻo e papitaisó pea kamata ke na taha mo e ʻOtuá. Kuó na hū ʻi he hala ʻo e fuakavá.

ʻOku tataki kitautolu ʻe he hala ʻo e fuakavá ke tau foki kiate Ia. Ko ha ʻOfa mo ha ʻAloʻofa Makehe

Ko ʻetau fakahoko pē ha fuakava mo e ʻOtuá, ʻoku tau mavahe leva mei he tuʻu tauʻatāiná ʻo taʻengata. He ʻikai liʻaki ʻe he ʻOtuá Hono vā fetuʻutaki mo kinautolu kuo nau fokotuʻu ha faʻahinga vā fetuʻutaki pehē mo Iá. ʻI he lea faka-Hepeluú, ʻoku ui ʻa e ʻofa fakafuakava ko iá ko e hesed (חֶסֶד).3

ʻOku ʻikai ha tatau feʻunga ʻi he lea faka-Pilitāniá ki he hesed. Pau pē naʻe fefaʻuhi ʻa e kau liliu lea ʻo e Liliu ʻa Kingi Sēmisi ʻo e Tohi Tapú mo e founga ke nau liliu ai ʻa e hesed ki he lea faka-Pilitāniá. Naʻa nau faʻa fili ʻa e “angaʻofá.” ʻOku maʻu ʻe he leá ni ha meʻa lahi ka ʻoku ʻikai ko e ʻuhinga kakato ia ʻo e hesed. Naʻe toe fai foki mo ha ngaahi liliu kehe, hangē ko e “ʻaloʻofá” mo e “angaleleí.” Ko e hesed ko ha foʻi lea makehe ia ʻokú ne fakamatalaʻi ha vā fetuʻutaki ʻi he fuakavá ʻa ia ʻoku haʻisia ai ʻa e ongo tafaʻakí fakatouʻosi ke na fetauhiʻaki mo fefaitōnungaʻaki.

Koeʻuhí kuo fakahoko ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻa e hesed kiate kinautolu kuo nau fakahoko ha fuakava mo Iá, te Ne ʻofa ʻiate kinautolu. Te Ne fakamolemoleʻi kinautolu ʻi he taimi te nau fakatomala aí. Pea kapau te nau hē, te Ne tokoniʻi kinautolu ke nau ʻilo honau hala ke foki ai kiate Iá.

Kuo haʻi fakataha ʻeni kitautolu. Koeʻuhí ko ʻetau fuakava mo e ʻOtuá, he ʻikai ke Ne teitei fiu ʻi Heʻene feinga ke tokoniʻi kitautolú, pea he ʻikai ʻaupito ke tau teitei lava ʻo ikunaʻi ʻEne faʻa kātaki ʻaloʻofa kiate kitautolú.

ʻOku mou ʻilo ki he folofola fakahisitōlia naʻe fakahoko ʻe he ʻEikí kia Siosefa Sāmitá. Naʻe maʻu ia ʻi he fakahā. Naʻe folofola ʻa e ʻEikí kia Siosefa, “ʻOku ʻamoutolu foki ʻa e talaʻofá ni, koeʻuhí he ko hoʻomou tupu meia ʻĒpalahame, pea naʻe fai ʻa e talaʻofá kia ʻĒpalahame” (Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 132:31).

Ko e fuakava ʻo e mali naʻe fakahoko ʻi he temipalé ʻoku haʻi fakahangatonu ia ki he fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahame ko iá. ʻOku fakafeʻiloaki ha ongomeʻa mali ʻi he temipalé ki he ngaahi tāpuaki kotoa pē ʻoku fakatatali maʻá e hako faivelenga ʻo ʻĒpalahame, ʻAisake mo Sēkopé.

Pea ta hū kakato leva ki ai ʻi he temipalé. ʻOku maʻu e ngaahi tāpuaki ʻo e fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahamé ʻi he ngaahi temipale toputapú. ʻOku fakaʻatā kitautolu ʻe he ngaahi tāpuaki ko ʻení, ʻi he toetuʻú, ke “maʻu ʻa e ngaahi taloni, ngaahi puleʻanga, ngaahi pule fakapilinisi, mo e ngaahi mālohi, ki hotau ʻhākeakiʻí mo e nāunau ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē’ [Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 132:19].”4

ʻI he fakalea fakaʻosi ʻo e Fuakava Motuʻá, ʻoku tau lau ai ki he palōmesi ʻa Malakaí ʻe hanga ʻe ʻIlaisiā ʻo “liliu ʻa e loto ʻo e mātuʻá ki he fānaú, pea ko e loto ʻo e fānaú ki heʻenau mātuʻá” (Malakai 4:6). ʻI ʻIsileli ʻo e kuonga muʻá, naʻe mei kau ʻi he fakamatala ki he ngaahi tamaí ʻa e ngaahi tamai ko ʻĒpalahame, ʻAisake, mo Sēkopé. ʻOku fakamahinoʻi ʻa e talaʻofa ko ʻení ʻi he taimi ʻoku tau lau ai ʻa e tatau kehekehe ʻo e veesi ko ʻení naʻe lau ʻe Molonai ki he Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá: “Te ne [ʻIlaisiā] tō ʻi he loto ʻo e fānaú ʻa e ngaahi talaʻofa naʻe fai ki he ngaahi tamaí, pea ʻe liliu ʻa e loto ʻo e fānaú ki heʻenau ngaahi tamaí” (Siosefa Sāmita—Hisitōlia 1:39). Ko e moʻoni ʻoku kau ʻi he ngaahi tamai ko iá ʻa ʻĒpalahame, ʻAisake mo Sēkope. (Vakai, Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 27:9–10.)

Sīsū Kalaisi: Ko e Uho ʻo e Fuakavá

Naʻe malava ʻe he feilaulau fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ke fakahoko ʻe he Tamaí ʻEne ngaahi talaʻofa naʻe fai ki Heʻene fānaú. Koeʻuhi ko Sīsū Kalaisí “ko e hala, mo e moʻoni, pea mo e moʻui,” ʻoku hoko atu ai “ʻoku ʻikai haʻu ha tangata ʻe taha ki he Tamaí, kae ʻiate [Ia]” (Sione 14:6). ʻOku malava hono fakahoko ʻo e fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahamé koeʻuhí ko e Fakalelei ʻa hotau Fakamoʻuí, ʻa e ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí. Ko Sīsū Kalaisi ʻa e uho ʻo e fuakava faka-ʻĒpalahamé.

ʻOkú ke manatuʻi hoʻo laukonga fekauʻaki mo e mali ʻa Sēlai mo ʻEpalamé. Naʻe fāʻeleʻi ʻe Hekaʻā ʻa ʻIsimeʻeli.5 Naʻe ʻofa ʻa ʻEpalame ʻia ʻIsimeʻeli, ka naʻe ʻikai ko e tamasiʻi ia ʻe fou ai ʻa e fuakavá. (Vakai, Sēnesi 11:29–30; 16:1, 3, 11; Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 132:34.)

ʻI heʻene hoko ko ha tāpuaki mei he ʻOtuá, pea ʻi heʻene tali ki he tui ʻa Sēlaí,6 naʻá ne tuʻituʻia ʻi hono taʻu motuʻá koeʻuhí ke fou ʻa e fuakavá ʻi hono foha ko ʻAisaké (vakai, Sēnesi 17:19). ʻOku fāʻeleʻi ia ʻi he fuakavá.

Naʻe fakahā ʻe he ʻOtuá kia ʻĒpalahame ʻe fakatokolahi ʻa ʻIsimeʻeli pea te ne hoko ko ha puleʻanga lahi (vakai, Sēnesi 17:20). ʻI he taimi tatau, naʻe fakamahinoʻi ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻe fokotuʻu ʻa e fuakava taʻengatá ʻo fakafou ʻia ʻAisake (vakai, Sēnesi 17:19).

ʻOku hoko ʻa kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku nau tali ʻa e ongoongoleleí ko e konga ʻo e hako ʻo ʻĒpalahamé. ‘Oku tau lau ʻi he tohi ʻa Kalētiá:

“He ko kimoutolu kotoa pē kuo papitaiso kia Kalaisí, kuo mou ʻai ʻa Kalaisi.

“… ʻOku mou taha kotoa pē ʻia Kalaisi Sīsū.

“Pea kapau ʻoku ʻa Kalaisi ʻa kimoutolu, pea tā ko e hako ʻo ʻĒpalahamé ʻa kimoutolu, pea ko e fānau hoko ʻo fakatatau mo e talaʻofá” (Kalētia 3:27–29).

Ko ia ai, te tau lava ʻo hoko ko e kau ʻea-hoko ki he fuakavá ʻi he fāʻeleʻí pe ohí.

Naʻe fāʻeleʻi ʻa Sēkope ko e foha ʻo ʻAisake mo Lepeká ʻi he fuakavá. Hangē ko ia ʻoku mou ʻiloʻí, naʻe liliu e hingoa ʻo Sēkopé kia ʻIsileli (vakai, Sēnesi 32:28), ko hono ʻuhingá ko e “tuku ke lāngilangiʻia ʻa e ʻOtuá” pe “ko ha taha ʻoku lāngilangiʻia mo e ʻOtuá.”7

ʻOku tau lau ʻi he tohi ʻEkesōtosí naʻe “manatuʻi ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻa ʻene fuakava kia ʻĒpalahame, mo ʻAisake, pea mo Sēkopé” ( ʻEkesōtosi 2:24). Hili hono fakamoʻui ʻe Pita ha tangata pipiki ʻi he sitepu ʻo e temipalé, naʻá ne akoʻi ha kau mamata fekauʻaki mo Sīsū. Naʻe pehē ʻe Pita, “Ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻĒpalahame, mo ʻAisake, mo Sēkopé, ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻetau ngaahi tamaí, kuó ne fakaongoongoleleiʻi hono ʻAlo ko Sīsuú” (Ngāue 3:13).

Naʻe fakaʻosi ʻe Pita ʻene pōpoakí ʻaki ʻene talaange ki heʻene kau fanongó, “Ko e fānau ʻa e kau palōfitá ʻa kimoutolu, pea mo e fuakava naʻe fai ʻe he ʻOtuá mo ʻetau ngaahi tamaí, ʻi heʻene pehē kia ʻĒpalahame, Pea ʻi ho hakó ʻe monūʻia ʻa e faʻahinga kotoa pē ʻo māmaní” (Ngāue 3:25). Naʻe fakamahinoʻi ʻe Pita kiate kinautolu ko e konga ʻo e misiona ʻa Kalaisí ko hono fakahoko e fuakava ʻa e ʻOtuá.

Naʻe fai ʻe he ʻEikí ha malanga tatau ki he kakai ʻo ʻAmeliká ʻi he kuonga muʻá. Naʻe fakahā ai ʻe he Kalaisi kuo toetuʻú ki he kakaí pe ko hai moʻoni kinautolu. Naʻá ne pehē:

“Pea vakai, ko e fānau ʻa kimoutolu ʻa e kau palōfitá; pea ʻoku mou ʻo e fale ʻo ʻIsilelí; pea ʻoku mou kau ʻi he fuakava naʻe fai ʻe he Tamaí mo hoʻomou ngaahi tamaí, ʻo ne folofola kia ʻĒpalahame: Pea ʻe monūʻia ʻi ho hakó ʻa e ngaahi faʻahinga kotoa pē ʻo e māmaní.

“Kuo tomuʻa hiki hake au ʻe he Tamaí kiate kimoutolu, mo ne fekauʻi au ke u tāpuakiʻi ʻa kimoutolu ʻi heʻeku fakatafoki ʻa kimoutolu kotoa pē mei hoʻomou ngaahi angahalá; pea kuó ne fekau ke u fai ʻeni koeʻuhi ko e fānau ʻa kimoutolu ʻo e fuakavá” (3 Nīfai 20:25–26).

Kuo fekauʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ke tau fakamafola ʻa e ongoongoleleí mo vahevahe ʻa e fuakavá. Ko hotau uiuiʻi ko e kau ʻIsileli ʻo e fuakavá ke fakapapauʻi ʻoku ʻiloʻi ʻe he mēmipa kotoa pē ʻo e Siasí ʻa e fiefia mo e ngaahi faingamālie ʻoku fekauʻaki mo hono fakahoko ha ngaahi fuakava mo e ʻOtuá. Ko ha ui ia ke poupouʻi ʻa e tangata mo e fefine, tamasiʻi mo e taʻahine tauhi fuakava kotoa pē, ke ne vahevahe ʻa e ongoongoleleí mo kinautolu ʻoku nau ʻi he tuʻunga ʻo honau ivi tākiekiná. Ko ha ui foki ia ke poupouʻi mo fakalotolahiʻi ʻetau kau faifekaú, ʻa ia ʻoku ʻoatu fakataha mo e ngaahi fakahinohino ke papitaiso mo tokoni ke tānaki ʻa ʻIsilelí, koeʻuhí ke tau lava ʻo hoko fakataha ko e kakai ʻo e ʻOtuá pea te Ne hoko ko hotau ʻOtua (vakai, Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakava 42:9).

Ko e tangata mo e fefine kotoa pē ʻoku kau ʻi he ngaahi ouau ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí pea ʻokú ne fakahoko mo tauhi e ngaahi fuakava mo e ʻOtuá, ʻokú ne maʻu fakahangatonu e mālohi ʻo e ʻOtuá. ʻOku tau toʻo kiate kitautolu fakafoʻituitui ʻa e huafa ʻo e ʻEikí. ʻOku tau toʻo foki Hono huafá kiate kitautolu ko ha kakai. ʻI heʻetau loto-holi ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻa e hingoa totonu ʻo e Siasi ʻo Sīsū Kalaisi ʻo e Kau Māʻoniʻoni ʻi he Ngaahi ʻAho Kimui Ní ko ha founga mahuʻinga ia ke tau toʻo ai kiate kitautolu ʻa Hono huafá. Ko hono moʻoní, ko e ngāue ʻofa kotoa pē ʻa e Siasi ʻo Sīsū Kalaisi ʻo e Kau Māʻoniʻoni ʻi he Ngaahi ʻAho Kimui Ní mo hono kāingalotú ko hano fakahaaʻi ia ʻo e hesed ʻa e ʻOtua.

Ko e hā ne fakamoveteveteʻi ai ʻa ʻIsilelí? Koeʻuhí naʻe maumauʻi ʻe he kakaí ʻa e ngaahi fekaú pea tolomakaʻi ʻa e kau palōfitá. Naʻe tali mai ʻe ha Tamai ʻofa kae loto mamahi ʻaki ʻa hono fakamoveteveteʻi ʻo ʻIsileli ʻi he feituʻu mamaʻo mo ʻatā.11

Ka neongo ia, naʻá Ne fakamoveteveteʻi kinautolu ʻaki ha talaʻofa ʻe toe tānaki ʻa ʻIsileli ʻi ha ʻaho ki Heʻene tākangá.

Naʻe ʻoange ki he faʻahinga ʻo Siutá ʻa e fatongia ke teuteuʻi ʻa e māmaní ki he ʻuluaki hāʻele mai ʻa e ʻEikí. Mei he faʻahinga ko iá, naʻe ui ʻa Mele ke hoko ko e faʻē ʻo e ʻAlo ʻo e ʻOtuá.

Ko e faʻahinga ʻo Siosefá, ʻo fakafou ʻi hono ongo foha mo ʻAsinaté, ko ʻIfalemi mo Manase (vakai, Sēnesi 41:50–52; 46:20), naʻe fatongiaʻaki ke taki ʻi hono tānaki ʻo ʻIsilelí, ke teuteuʻi ʻa e māmaní ki he Hāʻele ʻAngaua Mai ʻa e ʻEikí.

ʻI he faʻahinga vā fetuʻutaki ʻo e hesed, ʻoku fakanatula pē ʻa e finangalo ʻa e ʻOtuá ke tānaki ʻa ʻIsilelí. Ko Ia ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní! ʻOkú Ne finangalo ke fanongo ʻEne fānaú—ʻi he ongo tafaʻaki fakatouʻosi ʻo e veilí—ki he pōpoaki ʻo e ongoongolelei ʻo Sīsū Kalaisi kuo fakafoki maí.

Ko ha Hala ʻo e ʻOfa

Ko e hala ʻo e fuakavá ko ha hala ia ʻo e ʻofa—ʻa e meʻa fakaofo ko ia ko e hesed, ʻa e fetauhiʻaki mo e fetokoniʻaki ko iá. Ko e ongoʻi ko ia ʻo e ʻofá ʻoku fakatauʻatāina mo langaki moʻui. Ko e fiefia lahi taha te ke aʻusiá ʻa e taimi ʻokú ke fonu ai ʻi he ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá mo ʻEne fānaú kotoa.

Ko e ʻofa ki he ʻOtuá ʻo lahi ange ʻi ha toe taha pe ha toe meʻa, ko e tuʻunga ia ʻokú ne ʻomi ʻa e nonga, fiemālie, loto-falala, mo e nēkeneka moʻoní.

Ko e hala ʻo e fuakavá ʻoku fekauʻaki ia mo hotau vā fetuʻutaki mo e ʻOtuá—ʻa hotau vā fetuʻutaki ko e hesed mo Iá. Te Ne fakahoko ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē te Ne lavá, ʻo ʻikai ke kaunoa ʻi heʻetau tauʻatāina ke filí, ke tokoniʻi kitautolu ke tau tauhi haʻatautolú.

ʻOku kamata pea fakaʻosi ʻaki e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ʻa e fakafekauʻaki mo e fuakava taʻengata ko ʻení. Mei hono peesi talamuʻakí ki he ngaahi fakamoʻoni fakaʻosi ʻa Molomona mo Molonaí, ʻoku fakamatala ʻa e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ki he fuakavá (vakai, Molomona 5:20; 9:37). “Ko hono ʻomi ko ia ʻo e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ko ha fakaʻilonga ia ki he māmaní kātoa kuo kamata ke tānaki ʻe he ʻEikí ʻa ʻIsileli mo fakahoko ʻa e ngaahi fuakava naʻá Ne fai mo ʻĒpalahame, ʻAisake, mo Sēkopé.”12

Siʻoku kāinga ʻofeina, kuo ui kitautolu ʻi he kuonga mahuʻinga ko ʻeni ʻi he hisitōlia ʻo e māmaní ke akoʻi ʻa māmani fekauʻaki mo e fakaʻofoʻofa mo e mālohi ʻo e fuakava taʻengatá. ʻOku falala mai ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní ke tau fai e ngāue maʻongoʻongá ni.

Naʻe fakahoko foki ʻa e pōpoakí ni ʻi ha fakataha fakatakimuʻa ʻo e konifelenisi lahí ʻi he ʻaho 31 ʻo Māʻasi 2022.
