ʻI heʻeku kei talavoú ʻi he ngaahi taʻu lahi kuohilí, ne ui ai au— pe ʻoku tau ui ko e, “fakamālohiʻi ke kau ki he taú”—ki he ngāue fakakautau ʻo ʻAfilika Tonga. Ne vaheʻi au ki ha kiʻi kau tau sōtia ko ha kau tangata lelei, ka ne nau fakaʻaongaʻi ha ngaahi hua kovi mo ha ngaahi ʻulungaanga ʻoku faʻa fakahaaʻi he taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻe ha kau tangata ʻoku fai fatongia ʻi he ngāue fakakautaú.

Naʻá ku ʻilo ne ʻikai faʻa faingofua ke moʻui ʻaki e ngaahi tuʻunga ʻo e ongoongoleleí, ʻākilotoa au ʻe he ngaahi ivi tākiekina ko iá. Ne u fiefia ke u tuʻu ʻo taukapoʻi ʻeku ngaahi tui fakalotú mei he kamataʻanga ʻo ʻeku fai fatongia ʻi he ngāue fakakautaú. Ne mahino kiate au ʻe ʻikai ke u kau ki ha faʻahinga meʻa ne u ʻilo ʻoku ʻikai totonu. ʻOku ou fiefia ke pehē ko e kau tangata ʻi heʻeku kulupu fakakautaú—niʻihi ne nau ʻiteʻita ʻi he kamatá—ka ʻi he ʻalu e taimí ne nau fakaʻapaʻapaʻi ʻeku ngaahi tui fakalotú.

Kimuʻa peá u malava ʻo talí, ne fakaʻohovaleʻi au ʻe ha taha ʻo ʻeku ngaahi kaungāmeʻá ʻaki ʻene valokiʻi e tokotahá ni.

Naʻá ne pehē ange, “ʻOku mau fokotuʻu atu ke ke mavahe ʻi he taimí ni.” “ʻE ʻikai ke mau fakangofua ke lea pehē ha taha kia Kulisi! Ko hono moʻoní, ko ia pe taha ʻiate kimautolu ʻokú ne moʻui ʻo fakatatau ki ha Kalisitiane moʻoni.”
