Enkens skjerver

Jesus watches a rich man put much money into the treasury at the temple - ch.45-1

Jesus dro til templet i Jerusalem. Han så at mange ga penger til Kirken. Det var mange rike som ga mye penger.

Markus 12:41

Jesus watches as a widow puts two mites into the treasury - ch.45-2

En fattig enke ga to mynter som kaltes skjerver. Det var ikke mye penger, men det var alle pengene hun hadde.

Jesus tells His disciples about the widow - ch.45-3

Jesus så enken og fortalte disiplene hva hun hadde gjort.

Markus 12:43

Jesus tells His disciples about the rich men. A rich man is counting his money. - ch.45-4

Han sa at de rike hadde gitt mer penger enn hun hadde, men de hadde mer å gi.

Jesus tells His disciples that the widow gave more than the rich man - ch.45-5

Enken hadde ikke mer penger. Hun ga alt hun hadde. Hun ga mer til Gud enn alle de rike hadde gjort.
