Woman in classroom

ʻI he taimi naʻá ku palesiteni fakamisiona aí, naʻá ku aʻu ki homa misioná mo e fakatuʻamelie ʻe mohu Laumālie e ngaahi fakataha fakafaifekaú ʻo hangē ko ia ko e ʻū fakataha ne u faʻa kau ki ai ʻi heʻeku kei faifekau talavoú. Ka naʻá ku loto-mamahi ʻi he hili pē ʻemau fuofua takai ʻo e konifelenisi fakasouní.

ʻI heʻema fakalaulauloto mo lotua mo hoku uaifí ha founga ke fakaafeʻi mai ai ha laumālie ʻoku lahi angé ki heʻema moʻuí mo e moʻui ʻa e kau faifekaú, naʻe tataki kimaua ke fakatefito ʻema faiakó ʻi he tokāteline ʻo Kalaisí mo hono mālohi ke liliu kimautolú. ʻI heʻema muimui ki he palani ko ʻení ʻi he ngaahi māhina hokó, naʻe tokolahi e kau faifekau ne nau omi ʻo vahevahe kiate au ʻenau loto-tautea ki heʻenau tōʻonga ʻi he kuohilí mo fakahā ʻenau fakaʻamu ke toe faivelenga ange ʻi hono tauhi e laó mo moʻui ʻaki e ongoongoleleí.

Ko e Hā Naʻá Ne Fakatupu e Liliu Ko ʻEní?

Naʻe faʻa akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Poiti K. Peeka (1924–2015), ko e Palesiteni ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá: “ʻOku liliu ʻa e fakakaukaú mo e ʻulungāangá ʻi he mahino ʻa e tokāteline moʻoní. ʻE vave ange e liliu ʻo e ʻulungāngá ʻi hono ako ʻa e ngaahi tokāteline ʻo e ongoongoleleí, ʻi hano fai ha ako ki he ʻulungāngá.”1 Naʻá ku ʻosi ʻiloʻi pē ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení kimuʻa, ka ʻi he hili ʻeku aʻusia mo ʻeku kau faifekaú, naʻe toe lahi ange ʻeku houngaʻia ʻi he mālohi mo e ivi ʻo e folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá ke liliu e ngaahi lotó (vakai, ʻAlamā 31:5). ʻI he fakahoko ʻema ngāué pea naʻá ma hokohoko atu ke nofotaha ʻi hono akoʻi e tokāteliné, naʻe liliu honau lotó pea pehē foki kiate kimaua. Koeʻuhí naʻe mahino e tokāteliné kiate kimautolu, ne mahino e “ʻuhinga” ʻo e talangofuá, kae ʻikai “ko e hā” e fekaú mo e “foungá”.

Ko e hā ʻOku Fuʻu Mālohi ai hono Akoʻi e Tokāteliné?

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Henelī B. ʻAealingi, Tokoni ʻUluaki ʻi he Kau Palesitenisī ʻUluakí “ko e folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá ko e tokāteline ia naʻe akonaki ʻaki ʻe Sīsū Kalaisi mo ʻEne kau palōfitá.”2 ʻOku fakatefito ʻa e tokāteline moʻoní ʻia Kalaisi.

ʻOku ʻikai ke maʻu e mālohi ki he liliu ʻo e lotó ʻi he faiakó ka ʻi he “ivi ʻo e folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá” (ʻAlamā 31:5). Ko e taimi ʻoku tau akoʻi ai ʻEne folofolá ʻi he Laumāié, ʻoku fakahū ʻe he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní ʻa e māmá mo e moʻoní ki he loto ʻo e kau akó (vakai, Sione 6:63; 2 Nīfai 33:1; T&F 84:45). Ko e taimi ʻoku fakaʻatā ai ʻe he kau akó honau lotó ke tali e folofolá, ʻoku fakamaama ʻe he Laumālié ʻenau fakakaukaú mo liliu honau lotó—ʻa ʻenau taumuʻá mo e ʻulungāngá.

Ko e Tohi ʻa Molomoná ko ha fakamoʻoni mālohi ia “ki he liliu ʻa e fakakaukaú mo e ʻulungāangá ʻi he mahino ʻa e tokāteline moʻoní.”

  • Naʻe akoʻi ʻe he Tuʻi ko Penisimaní ki hono kakaí ʻa e ngaahi folofola naʻá ne maʻu mei ha ʻāngeló, pea naʻe fakatupu ʻe he Laumālié ha fuʻu liliu lahi “ʻo ʻikai ai te mau toe maʻu ha holi ke faikovi, kā ke failelei maʻu ai pē” (Mōsaia 5:2).

  • Lolotonga hono akoʻi ʻe ʻAlamā ko e Lahi ʻa e kakaí, “naʻe fakamaama honau laumālié ʻe he maama ʻo e folofola taʻengatá,” pea naʻe fakamoʻui kinautolu (ʻAlamā 5:7; vakai foki, veesi 9).

  • Naʻe tokoni ʻa e ngaahi foha ʻo Mōsaiá, “koeʻuhí ko e mālohi ʻo ʻene folofolá” (ʻAlamā 26:13), ke fakahoko ha liliu moʻoni ʻi he loto ʻo e kau Leimana ʻe toko laui afe (vakai, ʻAlamā 17:14–17; 53:10).

ʻE Founga Fēfē Haʻatau Tupulaki?

ʻOku ʻi ai e ngaahi meʻa te tau lava kotoa pē ʻo fakahoko ke fakatupulaki ai ʻetau malava ke akoʻi e tokāteliné ʻi he mālohi mo e mafaí (vakai, ʻAlamā 17:3; Hilamani 5:18). ʻOku ʻikai fie maʻu ia ke tau maʻu ha mataʻitohi filōsefa (doctorate degree) ʻi he faiakó pe ʻi he lēsoni fakalotú, ka kuo pau ke tau feilaulau. ʻE ala tokoni ʻa e ngaahi fakakaukau ko ʻení ʻi he taimi ʻokú ke fekumi ai ke fakaafeʻi e mālohi ʻo e tokāteliné ki hoʻo faiakó.

  1. Mataʻikoloaʻaki pea moʻui ʻo fakatatau ki he folofolá. ʻOku fie maʻu ke tau ʻiloʻi e tokāteliné kae lava ke tau akoʻi e tokāteliné ʻaki ʻa e mālohí mo e mafaí. Naʻe akonaki mai ʻa Palesiteni Hauati W. Hanitā (1907–95) ko e faʻahinga mahino ko ʻení “ʻoku fie maʻu ha meʻa lahi ange ʻi he laukonga fakafiefiemālie peé.” ʻOku fie maʻu ia ke ako fakaʻaho mo fakamātoato.5

ʻOku ʻikai feʻunga hono ako ʻataʻatā peé. Kapau ʻoku tau fie ʻilo ki he tokāteliné, kuo pau ke tau moʻui ʻaki ia (vakai, Sione 7:17; ʻAlamā 12:9).

  2. Akoʻi ʻa e tokāteliné. Kuo pau ke tau tokanga ke akoʻi pē ʻa e tokāteline moʻoní. Ko e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní ʻa e “Laumālie ʻo e moʻoní ” (Sione 15:26). ʻE lava ke ongoʻi ʻe he kau akó ʻa ʻEne fakamoʻoni fakapapaú ʻi he taimi te tau fakahā ai ʻa e “ngaahi meʻa ʻa e kau palōfitá mo e kau ʻaposetoló” (T&F 52:36) pea fakaʻehiʻehi mei he fakamahamahaló mo e fakaʻuhinga fakafoʻituituí. Ko e taha ʻo e ngaahi founga lelei taha ke fakaʻehiʻehi ai mei hono akoʻi ʻo e tokāteline halá ko e faiako ke mahinongofua (vakai, Mōsaia 25:22; 3 Nīfai 11:39–40). Pea ko e tahá, ʻoku totonu ke tau fakafekauʻaki ʻa e ngaahi talí mo e ngaahi aʻusia ʻoku vahevahe ʻe he kalasí ki he tokāteline ʻoku tau akó.

  3. Faiako ʻaki ʻa e Laumālié. Kuo pau ke tau manatu ko e faiakó ʻoku ʻikai fakatefito ia ʻiate kitautolu pē. Kuo pau ke hanga taha pē hotau matá ki he ʻOtuá. ʻOku ʻikai totonu ke tau fakangalingali ʻoku tau taukei pe fokotuʻu kitautolu ko ha maama. Naʻe tala ʻe Paula ki he kakai Kolinitoó naʻá ne ʻiate kinautolu “ʻi he vaivai, mo e manavahē, pea ʻi he tetetete lahi” (1 Kolinitō 2:3; vakai foki, veesi 4). ʻOku ongo ʻeni hangē naʻe ʻikai ke fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe Paula ha fakamatala naʻe fokotuʻutuʻu ke mahino leleí.

Kapau te tau hoko ko ha meʻangāue ʻi he toʻukupu ʻo e ʻOtuá ki hono liliu ʻo e lotó, ʻe fie maʻu ke ʻoua naʻa tau fakafeʻātungiaʻi pea ʻoku fie maʻu ke tuku ki he Laumālue Māʻoniʻoní ke ne akoʻi e moʻoní. ʻI hoʻo teuteu e lēsoní, manatu ki he meʻa ʻe mahuʻinga taha ki hoʻo kalasí ko e ongoʻi ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní. Fai ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē te ke lavá ke fakaafeʻi ai ʻa e Laumālié ki hoʻo kalasí. ʻOua te ke ilifia ke ke kiʻi fakalongolongo lolotonga hoʻo faiakó ke fakafanongo mo ongoʻi e fakahinohino ʻa e Laumālié.

ʻI heʻetau keinanga mo moʻui ʻo fakatatau ki he folofola kotoa pē ʻa e ʻOtuá pea akoʻi pē ʻa e tokāteline ʻoku moʻoní ʻi he mālohi ʻo e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní, te tau ʻiloʻi ʻa e liliu ʻe he ʻEikí hotau lotó mo e loto ʻo kinautolu ʻoku tau akoʻí. ʻOku ou fakamālō ki he ʻOtuá ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē koeʻuhí ko e liliu kuo fai Heʻene folofolá ki hoku lotó pea mo e kau faiako naʻa nau akoʻi kiate au ʻa e tokāteline moʻoní ʻi he mālohí mo e mafaí.
