Ko Hono Langa e Puleʻangá ʻi Niu Kaletōniá

ʻOku tali ʻe he kakai lalahi kei talavou ʻi Niu Kaletōniá mo e māmaní ʻa e ui ke ngāue tokoní pea hoko ko e kau taki ʻi he Siasí.

ʻI Heʻene Ngāue Tokoni ʻi he Kotoa ʻo ʻEne Moʻuí

Naʻe tokoni ʻa e ngāue fakafaifekau ʻa e kakai lalahi kei talavou tokolahi ʻo Niu Kaletōniá, ke teuteuʻi kinautolu ke ngāue tokoni ʻi he Siasí ʻi he kotoa ʻo ʻenau moʻuí. Naʻe maʻu ʻe Ulivaka Siolani (Siō) ha uiuiʻi ke ne hoko ko e tokoni ua ʻo e kau pīsopelikí ʻi ha uike pē ʻe taha hili hono tukuange ia mei heʻene ngāue fakafaifekau taimi kakató. ʻOku pehē ʻe Siō, “Naʻe toki ʻosi pē ʻeku ngāue fakafaifekaú. Naʻá ku ongosia, peá u pehē loto pē, te u mālōlō he taimí ni.” Ka naʻá ne kei tali pē ʻa e uiuiʻí. “Ne u ʻiloʻi te u ʻalu ki ha feituʻu pē ʻe finangalo ʻa e ʻEikí ke u ʻalu ki aí.” ʻOku ou ʻi Heʻene ngāué—ʻo ʻikai ko e taʻu pē ʻe ua, ka ʻi he kotoa ʻo e moʻuí.”

ʻOku maʻu ʻe he kakai lalahi kei talavou ʻe niʻihi ha uiuiʻi ʻe ua pe tolu. ʻOku pehē ʻe Siō, “ʻE lava ke hoko ia ko ha tāpuaki kiate kinautolu, ka ʻe lava pē ke hoko foki ko ha kavenga mafasia, ʻi he feinga ʻa e tokolahi ke potupotutatau e ngaahi fiemaʻu ʻa e kakai lalahi kei talavoú mo honau ngaahi fatongia ʻi he Siasí. “ʻOku faingataʻa ke fai e meʻa kotoa pē ʻi he taimi tatau.” Ka naʻe ʻilo ʻe Siō ko e taimi ʻokú ne fakamuʻomuʻa ai ʻa e ʻEikí, naʻe faingofua ke fakahoko ʻa e toengá. ʻOkú ne pehē, “Kuo tokoni ʻa e ʻEikí ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē—akó, kumi ha uaifí—naʻe ʻi he toʻukupu kotoa ia ʻo e ʻEikí.”

Ko e Kahaʻu ʻo e Siasí

ʻOku ʻi ai ha ngaahi fakakaukau mālohi ʻa e kau palōfitá mo e kau ʻaposetoló fekauʻaki mo e tuʻunga malava mo e ngāue tokoni ʻe lava ke fakahoko ʻe he kakai lalahi kei talavoú ʻi he Siasí: “ʻOku mau fie maʻu hoʻomou tukupā kakató. ʻOku mau fie maʻu ha kakai lalahi kei talavou longomoʻui, faʻa fakakaukau, mo ʻofa ʻoku nau ʻilo ʻa e founga ke fakafanongo mo tali ki he ngaahi ueʻi ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní.”4
