Nekega dne je Jezus na pobočju gore ob Galilejskem jezeru učence učil evangelij.

Mt 5:1

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus is teaching the people how to live - ch.20-2

Govoril jim je, kako naj živijo, da bodo srečni in da bodo ponovno živeli z nebeškim Očetom. To, kar je učil njih, lahko osreči tudi nas.

Mt 5–7

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus is telling the people to be gentle, patient and willing to follow the Lord - ch.20-3

Jezus je rekel, naj bomo blagi, potrpežljivi in pripravljeni ubogati nebeškega Očeta.

Mt 5:5

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people that they should be righteous - ch.20-4

Po svojih najboljših močeh bi si morali prizadevati za pravičnost.

Mt 5:6

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches that we should forgive those who do wrong to us - a man who has been injured is pictured with his attacker - ch.20-5

Odpustiti bi morali ljudem, ki nas prizadenejo oziroma se zaradi njih počutimo slabo. Če bomo mi odpustili njim, bo nebeški Oče odpustil nam.

Mt 5:7

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people to be peacemakers - people giving food to others is depicted - ch.20-6

Biti bi morali mirovniki, imeti radi druge in vsem pomagati, da se bodo imeli med seboj radi.

Mt 5:9

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus tells the people to spread the gospel and do good - a man teaching an older woman is depicted - ch.20-7

Naj nas ne bo strah ljudem spregovoriti o evangeliju oziroma jim pokazati, da imamo radi nebeškega Očeta. Ko nas bodo drugi ljudje videli delati dobro, bodo tudi sami verjeli v Boga.

Vedno izpolnjujmo svoje obljube.

Mt 5:33–37

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus teaches the people to treat others as they would want to be treated - a man is depicted helping a lame man walk - ch.20-9

In prav kakor bi mi želeli, da bi bili drugi prijazni z nami, bodimo mi prijazni z drugimi.

Mt 7:12

Sermon on the Mount - Jesus tells the people they will be happy and blessed if they follow they things He has told them - ch.20-10

Jezus je rekel, da bomo srečni, če bomo to delali, da nas bo nebeški Oče blagoslovil in ponovno bomo živeli z njim.
