Kuo hanga heʻetau Tamai Hēvani ʻofá ʻo foaki mai ha ʻilo ki he meʻa te tau lava ʻo ʻamanaki ki ai ʻi he taimi te tau fakalaka atu ai ʻi he moʻui ko ʻení. Ko ha ngaahi moʻoni ʻeni ʻe lava ʻo tokoni atu ke mahino ʻa e feituʻu ʻoku ʻi ai ho ngaahi ʻofaʻanga kuo hiki atú he taimí ni pea mo e feituʻu te tau fakaiku kātoa ki aí.

Ko e Hā ʻOku Tau ʻIlo fekauʻaki mo e Maama Tataliʻanga ʻo e Ngaahi Laumālié?

ʻOku ʻi fē ʻa e maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié?

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Pilikihami ʻIongi (1801–77) ko e laumālie ʻo kinautolu naʻe moʻui ʻi māmaní ʻoku nau ʻiate kitautolu ʻi he māmaní, neongo ʻoku ʻikai ke tau lava ʻo sio kiate kinautolu.1

ʻOku fēfē ʻa e maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié?

ʻE fakatefito pē. ʻE aʻusia ʻe he kau māʻoniʻoní ʻa palataisi—ʻa e fiefia, mālōlō, mo e melino, ʻikai ha faingataʻa, hohaʻa pe mamahi (vakai, ʻAlamā 40:12). ʻE foua ʻe he kau angahalá ʻa heli (vakai, ʻAlamā 40:13–14). ʻE lava ke fakamatalaʻi ʻa heli ko e “fakamamahi ʻo e taʻe fiemālie ʻi he ʻatamai ʻo e tangatá.”2

ʻOku fōtunga fēfē ʻa e ngaahi laumālié?

Naʻe maʻu ʻe he laumālie ʻo e kakaí ha fōtunga ʻo e kakai lalahi ʻi he maama fakalaumālié pea te nau maʻu ʻa e fōtunga tatau pē ko iá ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié, neongo te nau mate kei valevale pe kei iiki.3

ʻE lava ʻa e ngaahi laumālie ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaaahi laumālié ʻo sio mai kiate kitautolu?

ʻIo, ʻi hano fie maʻu. Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Siosefa F. Sāmita (1838–1918) ʻoku lava kinautolu ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié ʻo mamata lelei ange mai kiate kitautolu ʻi he tuʻunga ʻo ʻetau lava ʻo mamata kiate kinautolú pea ko “ʻenau tokanga, ʻofa mai mo fakaʻamua ke tau leleí, ʻoku lahi ange ia he meʻa ʻoku tau ongoʻi kiate kitautolú.”4

ʻOku lava ke kei ʻahiʻahiʻi ʻa e ngaahi laumālie ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié?

Kapau ʻokú ke faivelenga ʻi he moʻuí ni, he ʻikai maʻu ʻe Sētane ha mālohi kiate koe ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié. ʻE moʻulaloa ai ʻa e kau angahalá kia Sētane ʻo hangē ko ʻenau kei ʻi he māmaní.5 Hangē ko hono fakamatalaʻi ʻe ʻEletā M. Lāsolo Pālati ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá, ko e moʻuí ni ko e taimi ia ke fakatomala aí, koeʻuhí [“ko e taimi ia ʻoku tau ʻi heni ai ʻi he moʻui fakamatelié ʻoku lava ai ʻa e sinó mo e laumālié ke na ako fakataha.”]6

Ko e hā e meʻa ʻoku fai ʻe he ngaahi laumālie ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié?

Ko e meʻa ʻe taha, ʻoku tau ʻilo ko e ngaahi laumālie ʻo e kau angatonu ʻoku teʻeki ai toetuʻú ʻoku nau fai atu e ngāue fakafaifekaú ʻi he lotolotonga ʻo e ngaahi laumālie ʻi he falefakapōpulá.7 Ko kinautolu naʻe mate ʻi he tuí, ʻoku nau hū atu pē ʻo fai ʻa e ngāue fakalotú ʻi heʻenau fakalaka atu pē ko ia ki he tafaʻaki ʻe taha ʻo e veilí.8

Ko e Hā ʻoku Tau ʻIlo fekauʻaki mo e Toetuʻú?

Ko e kakai ʻe toko fiha ʻe toetuʻú?

Ko hai ʻe toetuʻú, pea ʻi he taimi fē?

ʻUluaki Toetuʻú, pe “Toetuʻu ʻa e Kau Angatonú” (T&F 76:17)

ʻI he Toetuʻu ʻa Kalaisí

ʻI he Hāʻele ʻAnga Ua mai ʻa Kalaisí

Ko kinautolu te nau maʻu ha nāunau fakasilesitialé (vakai, T&F 76:50–70; 88:96–98).

ʻI he Kamataʻanga ʻo e Nofotuʻí

Toetuʻu Hono Uá, pe “Toetuʻu ʻa e Kau Taʻeangatonú” (T&F 76:17)

ʻI he Fakaʻosinga ʻo e Nofotuʻí

Ko kinautolu te nau maʻu ha nāunau fakatilesitialé (vakai, T&F 76:85; 88:100–101).

Ngaahi foha ʻo e malaʻiá (vakai, T&F 76:43–48; 88:102).

ʻE fōtunga fēfē ʻa e sino toetuʻú?

  • Haohaoa. “ʻE toe fakatahaʻi ʻa e sinó pea mo e laumālié ʻi hono anga haohaoá” (ʻAlamā 11:43). Naʻe fakamatalaʻi ʻe Palesiteni Siosefa F. Sāmita, “ʻE toʻo atu ʻa e fōtunga taʻe kakató; toʻo atu mo e ngaahi melé, kae maʻu ʻe he kakai tangata mo fafiné ʻa e tuʻunga haohaoa ʻo honau laumālié, ʻi he haohaoa naʻe faʻu ʻaki ʻe he ʻotuá he kamataʻangá.”9

  • Fakaʻofoʻofa.

Ko e hā ʻe hoko ki he kakai ne nau mate kei īkí?

Fakatatau mo e Palōfita ko Siosefa Sāmitá, ko e mātuʻa ʻa ha fānau ne mate kei iiki “te ke toe fiefia, mo nonga pea mo fiemālie ke ohi hake ʻa e kiʻi taʻahine ko ʻení, ʻi he hili ʻene toetuʻú, kae ʻoua kuó ne aʻusia ʻa e lahi totonu ʻo hono laumālié.”12

Ko e hā ʻe hoko ki he kakai naʻe fakamomofi pe ʻikai telió?

Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Palesiteni Pilikihami ʻIongi ko e toetuʻú “ʻe tānaki fakataha mai leva ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi meʻa ʻoku nau faʻu ʻa hotau sinó ʻi hení, ʻi he kemo ʻo e mata, ʻo tatau ai pē pe ʻoku ʻi he loto kilisitahí ʻa e ngaahi sinó pe ʻoku ʻi he tokelaú ʻa hano konga ʻe taha, pea ʻi he fakatongá ʻa e taha, pea taha ʻi he fakahahaké pea taha ʻi he fakahihifó, ʻe maʻu ʻe hotau lāumalié ʻa e ngaahi sino ko iá.”13

Ko e toetuʻu ʻa e sinó ko ha konga ia ʻo e palani ʻa e ʻOtuá pea naʻe akoʻi ia ʻe he kau palōfitá talu mei he ngaahi ʻaho ʻo ʻĀtamá (vakai, Mōsese 5:10). Ka “ ʻoku ʻikai maʻu ʻe he tēvoló ia ha sino, pea ko hono tauteá ia,”14 ko ia ʻokú ne fakakeheʻi ai ʻa e akonakí ni koeʻuhí ke ʻoua naʻa tui ʻa e kakaí ki he toetuʻu ʻo e sinó.

ʻOku tui ha kakai tokolahi ko e sino fakamatelié ʻoku tatau ia mo ha pilīsone ki he laumālié pea he ʻikai ke tau fiefia moʻoni tokua ka ʻi he toki taimi pē ʻe tukuange ai ʻa e laumālié mei he sinó, ka ʻoku ʻikai moʻoni ʻeni. Kuo ʻosi fakahā ʻe he ʻEikí ʻoku fie maʻu ha toetuʻu ʻo e sinó koeʻuhí:

  • Ko e founga ia ʻoku tau maʻu ai e kakato ʻo e fiefiá. “Ko e laumālié mo e ʻelemēnití [sino fakamatelié], ʻo ka fakatahaʻi ʻo taʻe lava ke toe mavahevahe, ʻoku maʻu ʻe ia hono kakato ʻo e fiefiá” (T&F 93:33). ʻOku tau toe ʻilo foki ko kinautolu ne pekia mo tatali ʻi he maama tataliʻanga ʻo e ngaahi laumālié ki he Toetuʻu ʻa Kalaisí, “lau…ʻa e mavahe fuoloa ʻa honau laumālié mei honau sinó ko ha nofo pōpula” (T&F 138:50).

  • Ko ha tāpuaki ʻa ʻetau fili ko ia e palani ʻa e Tamai Hēvaní. Ki muʻa pea fāʻeleʻi kitautolu ʻi he māmaní, naʻe fili ʻa e laumālie kotoa pē ʻe faifaiangé pea nofo ʻi he māmaní ke muimui ʻi he palani ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní kae ʻikai ki he fakafepaki ʻa Sētané (vakai, ʻĒpalahame 3:23–28). Ko hono olá, ne tau maʻu ai ha sino fakamatelie pea, tuʻunga ʻi he meʻaʻofa ʻo e Toetuʻu ʻa Kalaisí, te tau toetuʻu ai ʻi ha sino taʻe-faʻa-mate. He ʻikai teitei maʻu ʻe kinautolu naʻe muimui ʻia Sētane mei he maama fakalaumālié ki ha faʻahinga sino fakamāmani.

ʻOku akoʻi mahino ʻe he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ko e mālohi ʻo e toetuʻú ʻokú ne tuku ke tau hū ki he ʻao ʻo e ʻOtuá ke fakamāuʻi ʻo fakatatau mo ʻetau ngaahi ngāué.15

  • ʻOku fie maʻu ia ki he fakamoʻuí. Naʻe akoʻi ʻe Siosefa Sāmita, “He ʻikai ke lava ʻe ha taha ia ʻo maʻu ʻa e fakamoʻui ko ʻení tuku kehe pē ʻi haʻane maʻu ha tāpanekale [sino].”16

  • Ko e founga ia ʻoku tau hoko ai ʻo tatau mo e Tamai Hēvaní mo Sīsū Kalaisí. “ʻOku maʻu ʻe he Tamaí ʻa e sino ʻo e kakano mo e hui ʻoku ongoʻingofua tatau mo e sino ʻo e tangatá; pehē foki mo e ʻAló” (T&F 130:22).
