Purpose
Relationships can bring a lot of happiness into our lives. But let’s face it—they can be a challenge sometimes too! Getting along with others is a skill you’ll use all your life. You’ll be happier and can influence others for good.
Goal Description
Learn skills for making and keeping good relationships with others.
Goal Ideas

Make a plan to strengthen your relationship with a specific person. Write a note of appreciation to him or her. Be specific about the things you appreciate. Find ways to spend time together.

Invite someone to do something fun with you. Choose an activity you know this person would enjoy. As you spend time together, focus on the other person. Practice listening as you ask questions, and avoid talking too much about yourself. Get to know and appreciate this person.

Are you having a hard time getting along with someone? We all do sometimes. Try praying for this person and doing a secret act of service for him or her. It might not change that person’s feelings, but it probably will change yours.

Take a class on developing good relationships with others or resolving differences in a healthy way.
