Purpose

Social media is a great way to connect with others, but did you know that if you focus too much on your public image or how you compare to others, it can actually make you lonelier? Fortunately, you can beat that loneliness by forgetting yourself and using social media to uplift others.

Goal Description

Use social media to uplift others.

Goal Ideas

  • Skip the complaining, negativity, and insults and commit to posting only positive things on social media!

  • Make one kind comment or post on a friend’s page every time you visit a social media site.

  • Every Sunday, post a quote, scripture, or thought that you heard and liked in church that day. You never know who will be blessed to read it!

  • Take a picture with a family member or friend and post that picture with a message about why you’re grateful for that person.

  • Create your own goal.
