Purpose

As a young man ordained to the priesthood of God, you have been called to invite all to come unto Christ and to minister to others as the Savior would.

Goal Description

Learn the duties of the Aaronic Priesthood and fulfill them worthily.

Goal Ideas

  • Strengthen your ability to act in the authority of the Aaronic Priesthood by praying daily, studying the scriptures, living a clean life, and following the promptings of the Holy Ghost.

  • Discuss with your parents and priesthood leaders the duties and responsibilities of the Aaronic Priesthood. Use the resources below to help you.

  • Learn the importance of priesthood ordinances and how to perform them, including blessing the sacrament, performing a baptism, or ordaining a deacon, teacher, or priest.

  • Obtain a limited-use temple recommend and participate as often as you can in performing baptisms and confirmations for the dead. If you have been ordained a priest, consider volunteering to perform baptisms or serve as a witness for baptisms.

  • Plan 30 days of service. This might include priesthood duties like preparing, blessing, or passing the sacrament; collecting fast offerings; ministering to others; cleaning the meetinghouse; or participating in a community service project.

  • Create your own goal.
