Ua faaora Iesu i te taata matapo

The disciples ask Jesus if a certain man is blind because he sinned or his parents sinned - ch.34-1

I te hoê mahana te haere noa ra Iesu e Ta’na mau pĭpĭ. Ua ite atu ra ratou i te hoê taata matapo mai te fanauraa mai â. Ua ui atu ra te mau pĭpĭ e, e matapo anei to teie taata i te mea e, ua hara oia, e aore râ, ua hara to’na na metua.

Jesus tells the disciples that the man was blind so that He could heal him and the people could see God's power - ch.34-2

Jesus puts mud on the man's eyes and tells him to wash his eyes - ch.34-3

The man washes the mud from his eyes and can see - ch.34-4

The man tells the people that Jesus healed him - ch.34-5

Ia ite maira to’na mau taata tupu ia’na ra, aita ratou i ite papû e o vai râ oia. Ua parau atu ra oia ia ratou e, na Iesu i faaora ia’na. Ua arata‘i atu ra te mau taata tupu i taua taata ra i te mau pharisea ra. Ua parau atu ra taua taata ra i te mau pharisea e, na Iesu i faaora ia’na.

The man tells the Pharisees that Jesus healed him and they are angry - ch.34-6

Ua feruri te tahi mau pharisea e taata parau ti‘a Iesu. Area te tahi ra, ua mana‘o ïa ratou e, e taata hara Oia. Ia parau taua taata ra e, e taata parau ti‘a o Iesu, ua riri te tahi mau pharisea e ua tiahi ia’na i rapae.

The man worships Jesus after Jesus tells him that He is the Son of God - ch.34-7
