The younger son of a man asks his father for his inheritance - ch.35-15

The son is drinking and laughing with friends - ch.35-16

The son asks a man for help and the man sends him to feed the pigs - ch.35-17

Farany dia tsy nanam-bola nividianana sakafo intsony ilay zanakalahy. Noana mafy izy. Nangataka fanampiana tamin’ny lehilahy iray izy. Nokaramain’ilay lehilahy hiandry ny kisoany izy.

Lioka 15:14–15

The son was so hungry he wanted to eat the pig's food - He decides to go home and be a servant to his father because the servants had enough to eat - ch.35-18

Noana mafy ilay zanakalahy ary te-hihinana ireo sakafon-kisoa izy. Fantany fa ny mpanompo ao an-tranon’ny rainy dia nihinana sakafo tsara mihoatra ny nohaniny.

The father sees his son coming home - ch.35-19

Nanapa-kevitra ny hibebaka izy ary nangataka mba ho mpanompo ao an-tranon-drainy. Rehefa niverina nody izy, dia tazan’ny rainy nanatona.

The father runs to meet his son and welcome him home - ch.35-20

The son tells his father that he has sinned - ch.35-21

Nilaza tamin’ny rainy ilay zanany fa nanota izy. Nahatsapa izy fa tsy mendrika ny antsoina hoe zanak’ilay ray intsony.

The father tells his servants to put the best robe on his sona ring on his hand and shoes on his feet - ch.35-22

Nilaza tamin’ny mpanompony ilay ray mba haka ny akanjo tsara indrindra mba hampanaovina azy. Nasian’ilay mpanompo kapa ny tongotr’ilay zanany ary nasiany peratra ny rantsantanany.

Lioka 15:22

The servants make a feast for the son - ch.35-23

Nasain’ilay ray nanomana fety ilay mpanompo. Tiany hankalaza izany ny olon-drehetra. Ilay zanaka izay nanota dia nibebaka ary niverina tany an-trano indray.

Lioka 15:23–24

The older son comes in from the field and hears music and dancing - A servant tells him that his father is celebrating the younger son's return - ch.35-24

Niverina avy niasa tany an-tsaha ilay zokiny lahy. Rehefa tonga tao an-trano izy, dia nandre mozika sy dihy. Nisy mpanompo iray nilaza taminy fa nody ao an-tokantrano ny zandriny lahy. Tian’ny rainy ny hankalazan’ny olon-drehetra izany.

The father comes out and talks to the elder son who is angry and won't join the celebration - ch.35-25

The father explains that the elder son will inherit everything the father has, but they should be happy that the younger son has repented and come home - ch.35-26

Jesus explains the meaning of the three parables to the Pharisees - ch.35-27
