ʻI he taimi ʻo Sīsuú, naʻe fuʻu mahuʻinga ʻaupito ʻa e anga fakakaumeʻá. Naʻe feinga ʻa Māʻata ke fai e meʻa angamaheni ne ʻamanaki ke ne faí ʻi hono talitali e kau ʻaʻahí. Naʻe fakatōmamafa ʻene tokangá ki he meʻa fakatuʻasinó, pe fakaesinó, ʻo hangē ko e teuteu mo hono tufaki atu ha meʻatokoni.

Fakatokangaʻi ʻi he Luke 10:40, naʻe ongoʻi “femouʻekina,” pe mafasia, ʻa Māʻata pea naʻá ne fie maʻu ke tokoni ange ʻa Mele ki ai.

Lau ʻa e Luke 10:41-42, ʻo kumi ki he tali ʻa e Fakamoʻuí kia Māʻatá.

Ko e hā nai ʻa e meʻa naʻe ʻuhinga ki ai ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻi Heʻene pehē, “ko e meʻa pē taha ʻoku ʻaongá: pea kuo fili ʻe Mele ʻa e meʻa leleí” (Luke 10:42)?

Elder Dallin H. Oaks

Naʻe fakamatala ʻa ʻEletā Tāleni H. ʻOakesi ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá ʻo pehē: “Naʻe taau ke fakamālōʻia ʻa Māʻata ʻi heʻene ‘femoʻuekina mo fetokangaʻaki ʻi he ngaahi meʻa lahí’ [Luke 10:41], ka naʻe ‘ʻaonga’ lahi ange ʻa hono ako ʻo e ongoogoleleí mei he Faiako Tuʻukimuʻá” (“Good, Better, Best,” Ensign pe Liahona, Nov. 2007, 104).

ʻI he taimi naʻe pehē ai ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ko e “meʻa leleí” naʻe fili ʻe Melé pea ʻe “ʻikai toʻo meiate ia” (Luke 10:42), ʻoku hangē ia Haʻane fakahā ʻe hoko ʻa e fili ke fanongo ki he Fakamoʻuí, kae ʻikai fili ke tokanga ki he ngaahi meʻa fakatuʻasinó, pe ngaahi hohaʻa fakamāmaní, ke maʻu ai ʻe Mele ha ngaahi tāpuaki ʻe taʻengata.

Ko e tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻe taha ʻoku lava ke tau ako mei he ngaahi lea ʻa e Fakamoʻuí, te tau maʻu ʻa e ngaahi tāpuaki taʻengatá ʻo kapau te tau fili ke tuku ʻetau tokangá ki he ngaahi meʻa fakalaumālié kae ʻikai ko e ngaahi hohaʻa fakatuʻasinó.

Tohi ʻi he meʻa ʻoku fakaʻatā atú ha ngaahi sīpinga ʻe niʻihi ʻo e ngaahi taimi ʻe lava ke fili ai ha taha ke tuku ʻene tokangá ki he ngaahi meʻa fakalaumālié kae ʻikai ko e ngaahi meʻa, hohaʻa, pē ʻekitivitī kehe ʻoku lelei kae ʻikai fuʻu mahuʻingá.

Naʻe toe akonaki ʻa ʻEletā ʻOakesi ʻo pehē:

“ʻI heʻetau fakakaukauʻi e ngaahi fili kehekehé, ʻoku totonu ke tau manatuʻi ʻoku ʻikai feʻunga pē ke lelei ha meʻa. ʻOku ʻi ai haʻatau ngaahi fili ʻoku toe lelei ange pea ko e lelei tahá ha niʻihi. …

“Fakakaukau ki he founga ʻetau ngāueʻaki hotau taimí ʻi he ngaahi fili ʻoku tau fai ʻi heʻetau mamata televīsoné, vaʻinga he ngaahi keimi vitioó, fakaʻaongaʻi e ʻinitanetí, pe lau tohí pe makasiní. Ko e moʻoni ʻoku lelei ke tau mamata he ngaahi fakafiefia ʻoku fakatupulakí pe maʻu mai ha ngaahi fakamatala mālie. Ka ʻoku ʻikai mahuʻinga feʻunga ʻa e ngaahi meʻa kotoa ko iá mo e konga ʻetau moʻuí ʻoku tau fakamoleki ke maʻu ʻa e ngaahi meʻá ni. ʻOku ʻi ai ha ngaahi meʻa ʻoku lelei ange pea mo ha ngaahi meʻa kehe ko e lelei tahá ia. ʻI hono fakahā mai ʻe he ʻEikí ke tau fekumi ki he potó, naʻá Ne pehē, “Mou fekumi mei he ngaahi tohi lelei tahá ʻa e ngaahi lea ʻo e potó” (T&F 88:118; toki tānaki atu e fakamamafá). …

“ʻOku lelei ange ʻa e founga ʻe niʻihi hono fakaʻaongaʻi ʻo e taimi ʻo e fāmilí, ka ʻoku ʻi ai pē ʻa e founga ʻoku lelei taha. Kuo pau ke tau tukuange ha ngaahi meʻa lelei ʻe niʻihi kae lava ke tau fili ha ngaahi meʻa kehe mei ai ʻoku lelei ange pe lelei taha, he ʻoku tupulaki ai ʻa e tui ki he ʻEiki ko Sīsū Kalaisí mo fakamālohia ʻa hotau ngaahi fāmilí” “Good, Better, Best,” 104–5, 107).

  1. journal iconToe vakaiʻi ʻa e lisi ʻo e ngaahi fili naʻá ke tohi ʻi he ʻuluaki ngāué, pea fakahingoa hoʻo ngaahi fili leleí takitaha ʻaki ʻa e “lelei,” “lelei ange,” pe “lelei taha.” Hili iá pea fakakakato ʻa e ngāue ko ʻení ʻi hoʻo tohinoa ako folofolá:

    1. Tohi ha founga ʻe taha kuo fai tāpuekina ai koe ʻi haʻo fakamuʻomuʻa ʻa e ngaahi meʻa fakalaumālié ʻi he ngaahi hohaʻa fakatuʻasinó.

    2. Fili ha meʻa fakalaumālie ʻe taha pe lahi ange te ke fie tuku ki ai ha tokanga makehe, peá ke tohi haʻo taumuʻa kau ki he meʻa te ke fai ke hoko ai ʻo toe mahuʻinga ange ʻa e meʻa fakalaumālie ko iá ʻi hoʻo moʻuí.

Luke 11

ʻOku akoʻi ʻe Sīsū ʻEne kau ākongá fekauʻaki mo e lotú

Fakakaukauloto ko ha faifekau taimi kakato koe pea ʻokú ke akoʻi ha tokotaha fie-fanongo kuó ne lotu tuʻo lahi ka ʻokú ne ongoʻi hangē ʻoku ʻikai ha tali mei he Tamai Hēvaní. ʻOku fifili ʻa e tokotaha fiefanongó pē ʻoku totonu ke kei hokohoko atu ʻene lotú. Ko e hā ʻa e meʻa te ke talaange ki he tokotaha ko ʻení ke tokoni ki ai?

ʻI hoʻo ako ʻa e Luke 11, kumi ki he ngaahi moʻoni ʻe lava ke tokoni ki ha taha ʻokú ke ongoʻi ʻoku teʻeki ke tali mai ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻene ngaahi lotú.

Fakatatau ki he Luke 11:1–4, hili ʻa e fanongo ʻa e kau ākongá ki he lotu ʻa e Fakamoʻuí, naʻe fehuʻi honau taha kiate Ia pe ʻe lava ke Ne akoʻi kiate kinautolu ʻa e founga ʻo e lotú, pea naʻe fai ia ʻe he Fakamoʻuí. Naʻe ngāueʻaki leva ʻe he ʻEikí ha ngaahi fakafehoanaki ke akoʻi ha ngaahi toe moʻoni kehe fekauʻaki mo e lotú. Fakatokangaʻi ange ʻoku fakalea ʻe he Liliu ʻa Siosefa Sāmita ʻo e Luke 11:4 ʻo pehē, “Pea ʻoua naʻa tuku kimautolu ki he ʻahiʻahí; kae fakamoʻui ʻa kimautolu mei he kovi” (Joseph Smith Translation, Luke 11:4 ; italics added). ʻE ʻikai faifai pea taki ʻe he Tamai Hēvaní ha taha ʻo kinautolu ko ʻEne fānaú ki he ʻahiʻahí.

Ako ʻa e Luke 11:5–13, ʻo kumi ki he meʻa naʻe akoʻi ʻe he ʻEikí kau ki he lotú.

ʻOku toe tānaki mai ʻe he Liliu ʻa Siosefa Sāmitá ha ngaahi ʻilo makehe ki he ngaahi akonaki ʻa e Fakamoʻuí kau ki he lotú. ʻOku tau ʻiloʻi kimuʻa peá ne fai ʻa e fakafehoanaki ʻoku kamata ʻi he Luke 11:5, “peá ne pehē kiate kinautolu, ʻE ʻikai ke taʻe foaki ʻe he Tamai Hēvaní kiate kimoutolu ʻa e meʻa ʻoku mou kole ki aí. Pea naʻá ne leaʻaki ha talanoa fakatātā, ʻo pehē …” (Joseph Smith Translation, Luke 11:5 ). ʻOku tau toe ako foki kau ki he ngaahi “meʻa lelei” naʻá Ne lea ki aí: “Ko ia kapau ʻoku mou ʻilo, ka ko e angakovi, ke foaki ʻa e ngaahi meʻa lelei ki hoʻomou fānaú, ʻe fēfē hono lahi hake ʻo e fie foaki ʻe he Tamai ʻi he langí ha ngaahi meʻa lelei, ʻo fakafou ʻi he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní, kia kinautolu ʻoku kole kiate iá” (Joseph Smith Translation, Luke 11:14 ).

Fakatatau ki he Luke 11:8, ko e hā ʻa e ʻuhinga naʻe tali ai ʻe he kāinga hono uá ʻa e kole mā ʻa e kāinga ʻuluakí? (Ko e lea ko e kole tāumaʻu ʻi he veesi ko ʻení ʻoku ʻuhinga ia ki ha toutou kole ʻa ha tangata ʻo kole fakamamaʻu, neongo naʻe ʻikai tali ʻe hono kāingá ʻene ʻuluaki kolé.)

Naʻe fakafou mai ʻi he ngaahi fakafehoanaki ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻi he Luke 11:5–13, ʻEne akonaki kapau, ʻi heʻetau taʻe haohaoá, ʻoku tau loto ke tali ʻa e ngaahi kole ʻa kinautolu ʻoku tau ʻofa mo tokanga ki aí, “ʻe fēfē hono lahi ange ʻo e fie foaki [ʻetau] Tamai ʻi he langí … kiate kinautolu ʻoku kole kiate iá” (Luke 11:13).

Ko e hā ʻa e taumuʻa ʻo e lotú? “Ko e lotú ko e founga ia ‘oku feongoongoi ai ‘a e finangalo ‘o e Tamaí mo e loto ‘o e fānaú. ‘Oku ‘ikai ko e taumuʻa ʻo e lotú ke liliu ‘a e finangalo ‘o e Otuá, ka ke ‘omi kiate kitautolu mo e niʻihi kehé ‘a e ngaahi tāpuaki kuo ‘osi finangalo ‘a e ‘Otuá ke foaki maí, ka ‘oku toki foaki mai ia ‘o kapau te tau kole.” ‘Oku fie maʻu ke tau ngāueʻi pe te tau feinga ki he ngaahi tāpuakí kimuʻa pea tau toki maʻu iá. Ko ha ngāue ‘a e lotú, pea ko ha founga ia kuo tuʻutuʻuni ke tau maʻu ai ‘a e ngaahi tāpuaki fungani taha ‘i he ngaahi tāpuaki kotoa pē” (Bible Dictionary, “Prayer”).

Fakatatau ki he meʻa naʻa tau ako ʻi he Luke 11:5–13, fakakakato ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení: Kapau te tau lotu mo toutou kumi ki he ngaahi tāpuaki ʻa e Tamai Hēvaní ʻi he taimi ʻoku tau fie maʻu ai iá, te Ne, ʻi Heʻene taimí pē pea ʻi Heʻene foungá pē, .

ʻI he mahino kiate kitautolu ʻa e tefitoʻi moʻoni ko ʻení, kuo pau foki ke tau manatuʻi ʻoku ʻikai maʻu ʻa e ngaahi tāpuaki kotoa mei he Tamai Hēvaní ʻi he ngaahi founga ʻoku tau ʻamanaki pe loto ki aí, pe te tau fakatokangaʻi leva ʻene hoko maí.

ʻOku hā ʻi he Luke 11:14–54 ʻa e fakamatala ki hono kapusi ʻe Sīsū ha tēvolo kituʻa mei ha tangata, fakatokanga ki he kakaí ke nau fanongo ki he lea ʻa e ʻOtuá, pea fakaangaʻi ʻa e kau Fālesí mo e kau tangata tohí koeʻuhí ko ʻenau vaivai fakalaumālie mo fai angahalá.

Luke 12

Ko e fakatokanga ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ki he mālualoi mo e mānumanú

Fakakaukau ki he ngaahi fehuʻi ko ʻení: Kuó ke fie maʻu vivili nai ha meʻa peá ke fakakaukau ki ai he taimi kotoa pē? Ko e hā ha uesia kovi ʻe lava ke hoko mai kiate kitautolu koeʻuhí ko haʻatau fuʻu fie maʻu ha meʻa?

ʻOku tau lau ʻi he Luke 12:1–13 “kuo [fakatefua] ʻa e fuʻu kakai taʻefaʻalauá” (Luke 12:1), pea ko e taimi ia naʻe akoʻi ai ʻe Sīsū ʻEne kau ākongá ke nau tokanga koeʻuhí ko e mālualoí. Naʻá Ne akoʻi kiate kinautolu heʻikai ha meʻa ʻoku ʻufiʻufi ʻe taʻe fakahā pea ʻoku ʻiloʻi mo tokanga mai ʻa e ʻOtuá ki Heʻene fānaú. Naʻá Ne toe lea foki kau ki he fie maʻu ke fakahā ʻe Heʻene kau ākongá Hono hingoá ʻi he ʻao ʻo e kau tangatá pea mo e angahala ko e mālualoí. Naʻe kole leva ʻe ha tangata ki he Fakamoʻuí pe te Ne lea ki he tokoua ʻo e tangatá mo fakalotoʻi ia ke vahevahe mo ia ha tofiʻa.

Lau ʻa e Luke 12:14-15, ʻo kumi ki he tali ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ki he kole ko ʻení.

Ko e hā e lea fakatokanga naʻá Ne fai ki he kakaí?

ʻOku ʻuhinga ʻa e manumanú ki he hulu e holí ki ha meʻa. ʻOku lava ke tau ako ʻa e moʻoni ko ʻení mei he faleʻi ʻa e ʻEikí: ʻOku fekauʻi kitautolu ʻe he ʻEikí ke ʻoua ʻe mānumanu ki he ngaahi koloa fakamāmaní. Naʻá Ne akoʻi mai ʻoku lahi ange ʻa e moʻuí ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakaesino ʻoku tau maʻú pea ʻoku ʻikai makatuʻunga ʻa e mahuʻinga fakataautaha ʻo ha taha ʻi he lahi ʻene koloá.

Hili ʻa e fakatokanga ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ki Heʻene kau ākongá ke fakaʻehiʻehi mei he manumanú, naʻá Ne ʻomi ha talanoa fakatātā ke fakahaaʻi ai ʻa e mahuʻinga ʻo e fekau ko ʻení. Lau ʻa e Luke 12:16–19, ʻo kumi pe naʻe tuʻo fiha hono ngāueʻaki ʻe he tangata ʻi he talanoa fakatātaá ʻa e ongo foʻi lea ko e Te u mo e ʻeku. ʻE lava ke ke fakaʻilongaʻi kinautolu takitaha.

Ko e hā ʻa e meʻa ʻoku akoʻi mai heni kau ki he meʻa naʻe hohaʻa ki ai ʻa e tangatá ʻi heʻene toutou ngāueʻaki ʻa e Te u mo e ʻeku?

Lau ʻa e Luke 12:20–21, ʻo kumi ki he tali ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ki he holi mo e manumanu ʻa e tangatá ni.

Fakakaukau ke tohi pe fakaʻilongaʻi ʻi hoʻo folofolá ʻa e lea ko ʻeni ʻa ʻEletā M. Lāsolo Pālati ʻo e Kōlomu ʻo e Kau ʻAposetolo ʻe Toko Hongofulu Mā Uá: “Ko e meʻa ʻoku mahuʻinga tahá ʻa e mea ʻoku tuʻuloa tahá” (“What Matters Most Is What Lasts Longest,” Ensign pe Liahona, Nov. 2005, 44).

Kapau naʻe ʻilo ʻe he tangata koloaʻia ʻi he talanoa fakatātaá ʻe mate he pō ko iá pea ʻe ʻikai lava ke ne ʻave ʻene koloá mo ia, ʻokú ke pehē naʻe mei kehe ai e meʻa naʻá ne fai ʻi he ʻaho kimuʻa ʻene maté? Fakakaukau ki he founga ʻe lava ke ke fakaʻaongaʻi ai kiate koe ʻa e fekau ke ʻoua ʻe manumanu ki he ngaahi koloa fakaemāmaní.

ʻOku tau lau ʻi he Luke 12:22–30 naʻe fakatōmamafa ʻe he ʻEikí ki Heʻene kau ākongá ʻa e ʻikai fie maʻu ke nau fuʻu hohaʻa ki heʻenau ngaahi fie maʻu fakatuʻasinó. Naʻe ʻoatu ʻa e fakahinohino ko ʻení ki he kau ʻAposetoló mo kinautolu kuo ui ke nau ngāue ko ha kau faifekau taimi kakato. Lau ʻa e Luke 12:31–32, ʻo kumi ki he meʻa naʻe akoʻi ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ki Heʻene kau ākongá ke nau kumi ki aí, kae ʻoua te nau tokanga taha pē ki heʻenau ngaahi fie maʻú mo ʻenau ngaahi holí (vakai foki ki he Sēkope 2:18–19).

ʻOku tau ako ʻi he Liliu ʻa Siosefa Sāmita ʻo e Luke 12:31, ʻa e fakahinohino naʻe fai ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ki Heʻene kau ākongá ʻo pehē, “Ko ia mou kumi ke maʻu ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá” (Joseph Smith Translation, Luke 12:34 ; toki tānaki atu e fakamamafá). Ko e “puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá” ʻoku ʻuhinga ia ki he Siasi ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí. “Ko e taumuʻa ʻa e Siasí ke teuteuʻi hono kau mēmipá ke nau moʻui ʻo taʻengata ʻi he puleʻanga fakasilesitialé” (Fakahinohino ki he Folofolá, “Puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá pe Puleʻanga ʻo e Langí,” scriptures.lds.org). Naʻe palōmesi ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ki Heʻene kau ʻAposetoló mo e kau faifekaú kapau te nau kumi ke langa hake ʻa e puleʻanga ʻo e ʻOtuá, te Ne tokoniʻi kinautolu ʻo feau ʻenau ngaahi fie maʻú mo foaki ange honau nofoʻanga ʻi Hono puleʻangá.

ʻOku tau lau ʻi he Luke 12:35–59 naʻe akoʻi ʻe he Fakamoʻuí ʻEne kau ākongá ke nau teuteu ki Heʻene Hāʻele ʻAnga Ua Maí. Naʻá ne tokoniʻi kinautolu ke mahino “he ko ia kuo tuku ki ai ʻa e meʻa lahi, ʻe ʻamanaki lahi ʻiate ia” (Luke 12:48), pea naʻá Ne fakamatalaʻi ko ʻEne ongoongoleleí ʻe hoko ai ha ngaahi mavahevahe lahi ʻi he vā ʻo e kakaí.
